I started a car rental business with 1 car, which is my car. My friend and I started managing and marketing other people cars as well for rental purposes. I am now making a living out of it.
Im doing the same thing. For about six months I got really great clients. However, at one point I rented out to someone who kept the car and when I reported it to the police they said because I physically handed over my keys, there's not much they could do even though technically it is stealing. I highly suggest, if you're not already doing this to install a tracker. That way if they don't pay, you can pick it up when they stop somewhere.
I live in central TN and was thinking about a rental. I was thinking Dirt bike rentals but I now see that could go south. Then I thought jet ski rental but that can also go real bad real quick. Possibly MTB rentals because where I live isnt much of a city so a city bike wouldn't get much attention. Maybe I'll try Mountain bikes like I said or bounce house and other party items to rent. The kayak rentals are another good idea It's just I think too much about what people could/would do wrong and could end up hurting themselves or others
There is definitely a liability issue with certain things like that but keep in mind TN is also a great area for property rentals. People love hiking and TN has a lot of great stuff to do outdoors
@@NeilBlalock currently not old enough to own properties. But yeah most definitely an outdoorsy place. I could always try kayaks, mtb, or maybe even camping gear. Or camera rental was a good one.
In the business of renting cloths. What can we do to ensure that those to whom we are going to rent clothes, use them well? And if they don't return the clothes after using them, then
@@edenlayton375 yes absolutely unless you plan on getting a property manager involved and have multiple properties then the MLS but for beginners marketplace is great
@@NeilBlalock lol not loud it was a good beat I meant. The production was solid and information was great. I couldn’t fathom there being 25 rental opportunities. I would like to get into trailer rentals, airbnbs, boat rentals, and storage rentals one day. Automate them all over time and enjoy the benefits.

None of these were taken in a country with a social security system or in a society that has become organized to any extent.
