I was looking at vacuum formers so TH-cam slipped me this video amidst some others I was actually searching for. And this is my favorite build so far! So dead simple. I love it when builds make a point to show how you can make it with household items and basic tools. Subbed!

Why on earth are there SOOO many keyboard warriors / trolls on here? Anyone would think the ideas posted on here were licensed under copyright. If they were, we would have to pay to watch them... Anyway... Who cares who, why, how, this was one of the top hits in my search and it ticks the boxes. BrainfooTV it was good enough for me fella!

Great Video! Who wants to discuss the desired most efficient "depth" of the suck box to get the best Vacuum action going? On the small 12" x 12" inch vacuum form table I'm attempting to build, I already want to place the vacuum hose straight down under the table like a kitchen sink. Don't mind placing the vacuum form box up on stands or even wheels. My shop Vac (I plan 2 use with the vac-u-form) is a 1989 Genie 1.5 (horsepower?) 2" inch hose outlet model that still works fine.

    • @BrainfooTV

Because a silicone or caulking is nearly as strong but seals all holes / gaps 100% airtight, even if your wood is not perfectly smooth

Yep! Wanted to know the same thing! If its 2:30am and your FX Prop is due at 8:00am, I would try a Heat Gun (not a blow dryer) if I was makin' somethin like a Zorro Mask. Would even use my Mannequin's head as a "buck" after I applied some Aluminum Foil on the mannequin to help protect it from the heat. Hey! I think I did this already and just gave away a hidden gem fx shop secret! Oops! #DesignerTJP
