Gosh, the world of tea is so large. Right now I am particularly invested in Japanese greens which is a beast in its own right. I'd like to get a firm handle on that before venturing to China.... The amount of every type of tea is just simply mind-boggling. I love it.
I have to say I don't know what happened when I received this tea in March. I tried it and wasn't amazed. I just rediscovered my pouch while putting my newest order in the stash cupboard. I decided to give it a try and it was a completely different tea. So smooth and rich, warming and relaxed sipping tea. I recognize the Tong Mu terroir, but nothing like a JJM or unsmoked lapsang. It reminds me of the smoothest yan cha ever made.
I have no interest in "status tea " , my only marker is that I like it ! So, lots and lots of samples..If I like it I will mark the packet and by more .. Still like to listen to what you have to say and try things I like the sound of .

Tea can be fickle but the cream eventually rises to the top.
My goodness the double-entendres with this channel 🤣
So many temptations with alternate titles on this one. I resisted as much as possible.

The title of this video sure is something! :)
