Ustad Je was not a poor man, this interview was taken in his ancestral house. FYI Madam took care of Ustad ji all her life, she had build a separate living area for Ustad inside the boundary walls of her house in Gulberg, Lahore where he lived all his life. She also took care of all his children. Ustad Je only moved back to Kasur few months before Madam’s death.

Noor Jehan was one of them....... Nowadays, I believe it's Adele who does....... But even Adele can't hold a straight face when hitting high notes n neither could Lata...... Noor Jehan would hit the highest notes with a straight n smiling face
