Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The Dissension section was cleverly done using the Late-Night City Tales sprite for GF, those sprites are really smooth, probably more so than even Finn's.

I just realised that in the end finn was holding a flower
I personally don’t think this is the case because if this the official song meaning that boyfriend was never supposed fight Finn as for the title come along with me is more of Finn trying to convince girlfriend to join him in the darkness that is the pibby glitch. Being that the end part of the song is more peaceful between the two that can only mean one thing that Finn was able to succeed to corrupt girlfriend. Also if this song place after the pibby mod of fnf then we would see girlfriend be in a glitched state along with Finn not in her demon state for if you know from that mod girlfriend getting corrupted is cannon in this timelines’ lore. So placing this song as a prequel to the pibby apocalypse mod other songs would make sense who girlfriend fought before getting taken by the glitch and giving boyfriend is rap barrier as symbolized in the end sequence where it is just her and Finn in the darkness. Her prayer state is to boyfriend hoping that he is able to save her like all the times before this moment. As she already knows that Finn is already gone to the darkness as shown by being in her demon state when fighting him.
Someone should make a cover where both BF AND GF sing together. Corrupted Finn will still be who they are singing against, but just have both BF and GF on the player side.
