the darkness can corrupt previous episodes in the past shown in the teaser of pibby, so i think this is before he lost his arm edit: nvm, in Mindless, he still has his robot arm but in the middle of the song he magically grabs his robotic arm and the arm turns into a sword?? and the corruption is flowing through the arm that he was missing, so its finn, but the true finn is most likely gone, the corruption has already taken over him fully
OK to answer this while the darkness can corrupt a show it can do so at any episode airing on tv so it could be any episode but it can make the character go through any of the character designs its had in the shows that means if you were to watch the last episode of adventure time for example he would first be normal but the darkness can basically corrupt the character to its other past designs but in reality we will never know now since pibby is not happening its been turned down a few days ago :(

I'm seeing people talking about Finn trying to fight the corruption, but I personally think the peaceful view that Finn sees is his point of view while he's under the corruptions control, while the darker scenes shows Boyfriends perspective, revealing the truth of what's really going on
I have noticed something. In 0:59, if you closely look at finns right pose, you can see his eyebrows, and hes grabbing his hat, as in trying to stop the corruption from messing up his mind, as you can see, i bet this is finn trying to stop it. Also, at finns left pose, i think the corruption noticed how finn was fighting in the right pose, so it made him smile to make him not step out of line. But thats just a theory, *A GAME THEORY*
i realized that this also makes sense since the darkness is confirmed to be meme culture itself. so my guess on what happens in this part would be that finn is trying to come back to his old-self before he was brainrotted

Ok so I have a theory about Pibby lore. I always thought about where the characters consciousness goes when they get corrupted. But after I watched this song it gave me a new idea, i think that fin,gumball,Steven universe, and all the shows that got corrupted are kind of taken to this… happy place? Of some sort. I don’t exactly know but it would make sense. It could be a strategy to make the victim become distracted and eventually forget about the real world. It would also be the reason why all of the cartoons/shows look happy when they are corrupted. This situation is similar to an episode of gravity falls(which also got corrupted in another fnf mod) where Mabel is trapped in a cage that tricks her to being in a world where she can get anything she wants. What do you guys think of my theory?
Pretty sure most people theorize that the Glitch is taking the characters back to the older counterparts of themselves, so that the shows never ended. Which is why Finn would be happier, because the earlier series are much more joyous.
When I look at the corrupted you can see that there eyes and mouth a bright white so the happy place is real only in their mind, they go to a state where corruption goes to the body and makes a happy place in the mind is where the victim will go and they will get whatever they wanted and if they are bored they look for there uncorrupted friends and try to tell them about this happy place in which the uncorrupted friends will try to get them out of this state because the uncorrupted friend will think that the corrupted are lying

At this mommet ( 0:56 ) if u look closely you can see that finn has eyebrows when he is infected. The reason im bringing that up is because in finns left pose (when infected after "peaceful" mode) his eyebrows are in the worried or sad way it would be drawn. The rest of the times it isn't there or it's just doing something in it's own mind
My little headcanon is that this is the culmination of the corruption. A character has been corrupted for so long that their bodies have bonded with it, making them resemble the character more closely, and essentially becoming the character. The corruption still stuck on their bodies and their somewhat inhuman movements being the only things that hints at them being corrupted. The puppet strings say it all: they have become the corruption's puppet.
Honestly, those strings might BE Finn. He is the reincarnation of a catalyst comet with the ability to astral project. And Jake has mastery over his soul and upon death, would stretch to cause a cataclysm. I think that whatever the corruption is, it really likes these two, considering the effort put in to keep them. Finn is constantly resisting to some extent, despite the happy land projection he seems to be in, and Jake is kept waist deep in the glitchy stuff to prevent his powers from going out of control. If this corruption really just doesn’t want the shows to end, it probably thinks it’s in the right by stopping entropy itself.

Bargaining: The Corruption takes control, Finn got more corrupted then what he bargained for. Depression: Going back to the previous stages, Finn is resisting, he's depressed Acceptance: Finn lost the war, and now his soul is accepted to the glitch.

Something i realized is that theres actually 2 Finns, not one finn, the reason is because in the Final Phase, when finn was holding a flower, you can see that finns sword That boyfriebd has, another finn appears in the Circle of the Sword 2:32

At this mommet ( 0:56 ) if u look closely you can see that finn has eyebrows when he is infected. The reason im bringing that up is because in finns left pose (when infected after "peaceful" mode) his eyebrows are in the worried or sad way it would be drawn. The rest of the times it isn't there or it's just doing something in it's own mind

Literally the only reason I started playing FNF was because of this mod.
My little headcanon is that this is the culmination of the corruption.
A character has been corrupted for so long that their bodies have bonded with it, making them resemble the character more closely, and essentially becoming the character. The corruption still stuck on their bodies and their somewhat inhuman movements being the only things that hints at them being corrupted.
The puppet strings say it all: they have become the corruption's puppet.
It feels calming at 0.7x playback, especially the end

Honestly, those strings might BE Finn. He is the reincarnation of a catalyst comet with the ability to astral project. And Jake has mastery over his soul and upon death, would stretch to cause a cataclysm. I think that whatever the corruption is, it really likes these two, considering the effort put in to keep them. Finn is constantly resisting to some extent, despite the happy land projection he seems to be in, and Jake is kept waist deep in the glitchy stuff to prevent his powers from going out of control. If this corruption really just doesn’t want the shows to end, it probably thinks it’s in the right by stopping entropy itself.

it shows that the corrupted are puppets for the corruption's creator: in the part wher you can see bf aswell as corrupted finn, hes got lights coming from his arms but if you look at bf then you see he keeps slicing the puppet strings -- basically fighting against the darkness that wants to corrupt him
