Thank you for such a great video. I really apricate that you were very direct and to the point. So many videos are hard to follow because there is so much rambling. Blessings
Decoupage using iron on flat surfaces is the only way I’ve been about to apply without wrinkles. On curved surface I like the Saran Wrap application. Thank you for your instructive video.
Love this paper !! Thanks for showing how to decoupage with no wrinkles. Great information about the wrinkles when the final coat is applied. Thanks Royce for a great instructional video !!
I am so glad I watched this video. My paper wrinkled when I put the top coat on. You said this would happen and not to freak out. As the paper dried, the wrinkles disappeared. Thank you.
Thank you! This is a great tutorial. After seeing this, I picked up some Fusion Ultra Grip and applied it to a couple of wooden panels that I had sprayed with white primer. I think that adding the layers of Ultra Grip (or similar product) on top, besides providing a nice surface for the rice paper to grip onto, will also prevent the underlying paint from coming up through to the rice paper layer.
Beautiful paper. I can’t wait to purchase it! 😀 If you use Mod Podge can you still get a finish with no wrinkles? You are such a great teacher, can’t wait to go back and binge your videos!!!
Hi! I’m not sure about using heat on mirrored glass. The mirror could crack. If you’re creating wall art ModPodge is fine. But if you’re going to use it on furniture, you’ll want to use a quality water based clear coat. 😊
Hi Royce - if i wanted to decoupage in pieces would you recommend the wet method or iron on method. Im wanting to use two different sheets on a large canvas to make them look like integrated. Thank you.
Hi Jeni. It’s important to make sure you have complete even coverage. Any bare spots will have bubbles later. It also important to use enough decoupage medium. What are you using?

The paper is so pretty. I've never seen this method on a larger piece. Turned out amazing.
🥰🥰
I have done the iron on method with just regular Plaid brand Mod Podge and it works wonderful. I love your decoupodge paper, it's gorgeous.

That paper is dreamy 😍😍
Thank you Cheryl :)
I can’t wait to try this
🤗🤗
Thank you. I am trying my first decoupage project tonight using your paper and the iron on method. Great video, informative and easy to follow. 😊
Hi Mary! You got this! I hope you’ll share your project inside the Roycycled Upcycling With Decoupage Facebook group 🤗
I tried the iron on method. Worked perfectly.
Beautiful project!!!!!
Brilliant as always! ✌️❣️😘✌️

Thank you for sharing your art it is amazing❤❤
Thank you ☺️
Love this!
I love ironing!
The best use of an iron is decoupage..I had to search the closet to find mine. Works great for me.
Do you sell your work? It's gorgeous! ❤❤

Hi Karen. Yes, you can use ModPodge and get a wrinkle free finish 🤗
Great video - thank you for the information. I have a heat press for vinyl - could I use this rather than an iron?
I imagine you could 🤗
Wow! I thought you ironed while it was wet. Don’t know why! Lol. I guess I didn’t know that the heat reactivated the medium!
Great tutorial! How many top coats can you put on? Especially if it is the top of a piece
Hi Karen. It depends on how the piece is going to be used. For a table top, I would do two coats of a quality sealer. 🙂
Can I use wise owl one hour enamel topcoat matte as an adhesive to decoupage my Roycycled paper Thank you
Hi Maryann. Absolutely! 🥰
This paper is beautiful! Would this method work for posters by chance?
Jann I believe this would work with posters. I have never applied a poster, so you may want to do a test run. :)
@@Roycycled that’s great! I will give it a try. Thank you
Can I use this method on a mirror? Can I use mod Podge. Thanks.

SO, if you put the paper on dry paint....and heat it....what creates the adhesive.
Hi Mary. I’ve never tried with paint, but I don’t think so 🤔
Will this method work on canvas palette?
Hi Pamela. I suppose it could. You would have to make sure there is something solid under the canvas so it doesn't have any "give" in it thought. :)
Love this, Royce. I happen to have a lot of liquid patina. Would that work the same way as the one hour enamel? Thank you!
Yes. My retailers who sell DIY use it all the time. 🙂
Great. Thank you
Where did you get the squeeze bottle?
#Replay. I believe you🤗😊🤗 It totally does just as you say!
What is the name of this paper please? I’m in Ontario Canada so would you know who sells it here? Thank you
Hi Jann. This is Summer Bird. You can find Canadian retailers using this link :) roycycled.com/business-directory/wpbdp_category/canada/
@@Roycycled thanks so much Royce! I appreciate the link.

Hi Jean. Yes, I prefer the wet method when working on collage projects 🤗. I’d love to see your finished project.
@@Roycycled thank you. I will send a photo. Im doing three large canvases. 🤗
@@Roycycled I’ve finished my pieces and sent you photos via Instagram. 🙏🏼
Was the project sealed with the one-hour enamel?
Hi @@arkfamilyadventures . Yes
Where to get the large sheets of paper ?
Hi Linda :) . You can find retailers who carry my Roycycled Decoupage paper on my website. roycycled.com/business-directory/
After my paper cools down it wrinkles. I have tried ironing the wrinkles out and it does but then it wrinkles again.
Hi Jeni. It’s important to make sure you have complete even coverage. Any bare spots will have bubbles later. It also important to use enough decoupage medium. What are you using?
@@Roycycled mod podge and I evenly applied and I think I used enough
@@jeninugent3822 Did you apply two layers letting the first completely dry before applying the second?
@@Roycycled just one layer
@@jeninugent3822 try two layers. I bet you’ll have better results. For the record, the traditional decoupage method is my personal favorite 🥰
