    I’m from Nz, bought the car 10 days ago. Fuel economy 6.1L average, lowest was 4.8L and current mileage: 450Km covered by depleting half fuel tank ( Petrol 95). The only 2things I don’t like is emergency lane assist and excessive body roll at 140kmph. It’s a great value for money though 😃

    • @MrPigwoods

      you can turn emergency lane assist off, but you have to do it every single time when restarting the car. annoying. 😂😇

      @@MrPigwoods I disagree with this, I am seeing such comments but I have kept it off for days and it stays off. Every time I turn it on based on my motorway traveling requirements only.

      @@alikashifsride it’s doesn’t go off once you restart your car. Emergency lane assist will automatically kick in if you haven’t turned off but if you pullover your car and turn off the vehicle, after restarting the ELA will be activated once again .

    Hi Greg a question - I have ordered this car in South Australia - what is the petrol Octane required 91, 95 or 98 - dumb question - but seeing posts and descriptions that include all those? Thanks so much great review and one I used as my final decision making one. Demo drive was just as you describe.

    • @MrPigwoods
      @MrPigwoods ปีที่แล้ว

      I am in New Zealand, and we have 91, 95 and 98 as well, at the beginning, I use 91, the full tank is 60lt can easily travel 800km in town (I believe I only used 50 - 55lt because there is still enough petrol in the tank to let me drive to the petrol station), my technician friend suggested I try out 95, which easily travel 900km at the same condition, the 95 is about 20c dear than 91 though (my friend owns the petrol station🤣)

    • @GregDennisReviews
      @GregDennisReviews  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it’ll be difficult to beat that diesel on on fuel consumption doing long trips. This is more designed to save fuel on short distance driving, but it does also kick in when coasting on the highway. Look at about 6.5L - 7L realistically.

      Resale for a hybrid isn’t bad anyway! I do own Haval h6 hybrid , use it everyday in suburban and can cover a range of 850-950km. Bought 3 months ago - still haven’t refuelled it. Pretty good fuel efficiency to me.
      To be honest, I will sell this car after 3 years for a good deal and go after the latest from Haval. Look out for latest Haval h6 hybrid GT.

      These tubeless tires rarely get flat while rolling, the car will issue several (early) warnings for low pressure, and even if you ignore the warnings you still have a compressor with a fix to get you home... So I prefer the free space on the trunk 😊

    • @GregDennisReviews

      @@GregDennisReviews Thanks for the feedback. EVs are still a mystery to me. I know that 530Nm is more than ample as my X6 had 400Nm and towed exceptionally well. I just didn't know whether the electrical motor produces that power while towing at, say, 120km/h. I thought it may only be available at pull-aways. Thanks again

    After a long mileage, how you found Haval in Comfort level, Driving ease, Safety measures, Suspensions result?
    ANY ANY ANY COMPLAINTS?

      Test drive the car and choose the car on your own risk.
      However, as a owner of Haval h6 hybrid I can strongly recommend you to get this vehicle if you are keen on comfort, luxury, price, safety and head/leg room.
      It’s mostly suitable in suburban areas, for long drive fuel economy is not bad.
      If I top up the fuel i can expect to cover 800km and also it depends how u drive.
      End of the day it’s your choice 😊

      I bought the H6 HEV last September (due for the first service, 10000km), nothing complaints about the long-distance drive, and fuel consumption. full tank (60lt) can easily drive 800km in town traffic conditions, saving more if travelling on the highway. comfortable 8 out of 10, fuel consumption 8 out of 10. We were going to get a fleet of Haval hybrids because of the stupid long wait list for rav4s but then ran the numbers.
    The H6 LUX petrol is advertised at $36,990 - the hybrid $42,490 - a $5250 premium The H6 Ultra petrol is advertised at $39,990 - the hybrid $45,990 - a $6000 premium
    Fuel consumption on the petrol claim 7.4 l/100 - hybrid 5.2 l/100 - saving 2.2 l/100
    At an average of $1.80/litre, that’s a saving of $3.96 per 100kms.
    The LUX at $5250 premium would take 132,575 kms to cover the extra cost.
    The Ultra at $6000 premium would take 151,515 kms to cover the extra cost.
    It's just not worth spending the money on a hybrid
