I was in the same situation as you! New 2024 Pro V 1975 and needed advice and equipment. Turns out, Great Lakes Angling is right where you want to fish. Rob W in the store helped me out with digging and techniques. Check it out!
Ya killed me when you said”You’ll probably will find my ashes out here someday.” 😢. Thats my plan too just on Oneida Lake in CNY to join my Dad who has been there 16 years now giving the walleyes hell daily no doubt.... Just ordered a 2024 2075 Fisherman,,,,,now the wait begins...... Cant wait,, ❤ the Lunds........
It’s interesting seeing the different rigs and lures that are used in different parts of the country. As a Pacific Northwest fisherman, we have our own methods. I might try some of your rigs to see if something different might produce.
