During that little run that starts at 3:11 the bass player Paul Turner incorporated a bass line from a song called Nothin' t To It by pleasure. This bass line is not part of the original almbum version, I think Paul Tuner was paying tribute to Pleasure; If I'm not mistaken this band was one of Paul Turner's biggest influences. Here is the link to the song th-cam.com/video/3KeKzwTmaOE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=veewee
Makes me laugh everything!!! Other favourite Dave comments include......Montreux "Stuart in some sort of man dress" 😂.....Space Cowboy ""That Bass players smooth I want him in my band "😂....so many regarding the hair in Montreux, favourite.."keyboard don't need to be funky, he's just playing the pads!"😂......honorable mentions...."do not give it to drummer, he will lose time"😂.....and the classic "when you stay at home listening to JK you go on 'Jaycation"😂😂😂😂
Yes! The bassist does have a note off in that little run starting at 3:22 - The chords played by the band are: F# G#m Fm A#m G#m* (*as a transition) 4:01 That's throwing off the keyboard player 4:48 that's what you hear out of place He plays (within the thirds of the notes, for flavor): 1st chord: D# D# D# C# D# 2nd chord: A A A F# A
Yeah whoever tuned that bass guitar was a little off and now I can't unhear it. The live performance they did of this song in Barcelona is incredible cuz it was in pouring rain. And they absolutely killed it
Love your reactions....Jay Kay not only sings he writes and plays several instruments so he's pretty talented....it runs in the family his Mother had a singing variety show in England so it runs in the family...❤❤
Denis I'm adding this to the list. This'll get Dave talking for sure. I wonder if he will realize it's the same as the one from Little L. Thanks so much for this!
Stevie Wonder? Seriously!?! Jay Kay's vocal inflections remind me of Gino Vannelli. Dave, you need to listen to "I Just Want To Stop" by Gino Vannelli. You'll understand what I mean. Come on, New York. Keep up! Still, watching your videos is infinitely better than anything that's being programmed on TV.
great track. really takes you on a musical journey. Here's a southern rock funk tune Dave might dig from the band, Firefall th-cam.com/video/tY7sobSFKwQ/w-d-xo.html

Hi rafael! Maybe this one will interest you th-cam.com/video/VFfz2NNOuYQ/w-d-xo.html Dave's reaction to Pleasure - Nothing To It.
Love Stu Zwnder but really proud of Paul Turner as he's from my city of Sunderland.
I’m loving the Jamiroquai reactions my favourite band, apart from Level 42 & Incognito how about some more reactions from those guys
“Wait a minute! the bass player just got funky like a MoFo!” hahaha best line of the reaction.

stuart played with a pick a few times during traveling without moving.

I will forward this along to Dave! Awesome post, thanks Enzo!
Dave you are totally the kind of dude I would love to work with in the studio.
You need to listen to the studio version...I heard it blasted through a Mercedes Benz and fell in love with the car.
Cool :) Yeah, this version is the best Little L version for sure. They really did a great job by adding that alternate spinn to it
the backing vocals the thing that gave it the nice new twist to this already awesome jam.

@@samechick Thank you for sending this to me I have seen it but that was very nice of you😊...I love that you appreciate Jay Kay and his band❤
Wish I could have seen these guys in their prime!
Dave 🙏🏾♥️
Very nice..!
He is really good.
The basslick he plays on Little L is from this song: th-cam.com/video/3KeKzwTmaOE/w-d-xo.html

jamiroquai - carla must happen soon ^^
Hey there Esoteric! Here is Dave's reaction to Carla th-cam.com/video/AMTzRfG_9I0/w-d-xo.html not the St. Petersburg one, and I can't remember why.

Kind of has a Earth Wind & Fire vibe.
I agree 100%!
Little L is an EWF template all day long!
Paul Turner is the B-player🎉

I personally didn’t hear a bum note from the bass player. Awesome performance overall from the whole band
Papa tenes que escuchar mas y dejar de tirar estupideces disfruta mas el viaje igual saludos de argentina
Dave hace lo que hace y te invitamos a ir a otro canal. ¡Nos vemos!
That bassist can't hold a candle to Stuart Zender... Many wrong notes, specially the ones connecting the chords of the song during Little L.
Bass player is very good but he doesn’t have the charisma of Zender.
Stuart is magical.
Damn Skippy....
It's a shame he ruined his career bc of drugs and alcohol
he messed up his voice and vitality but not his career. still out there headlining and making it happen.
