    Pommy cars always look so horrible and rusty underneath, my 2014 Opel Corsa OPC (30k miles) has all the same mods and is still in showroom condition underneath, in Brisbane Australia, garaged day and night though. But follow all the VXR videos, very enjoyable.

      Mine is actually really nice underneath. It has had the subframe replaced by previous owner with old rusted out one. Probably have had an accident damage. So I do need a new subframe.

    Hi.. I just found your channel.. I have the same model opc but i don't get that whistle sound from the dump valve.. I saw your other video about air pipes coming loose .. I will check that out.. Where should i be looking ? I dont know anything about cars really

      If you still have the primary and secondary catalytic converter installed and no aftermarket downpipe then this sound is really muffled. It helps if you remove the primary catalytic converter and replace it with a stainless downpipe. The secondary catalytic converter is enough to pass the emissions test. Primary only helps when the engine is cold.

    hi, do you know how much BHP can the engine take now after forging pistons and rods only? thanks

    • @SATSMotors
      @SATSMotors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it was 100 hp per cylinder. That's the safe limit. Probably will last a lot more

      @@SATSMotors thanks for the reply, am considering getting my corsa done too. What bhp are you running with your build? Thanks again

      I'm quite safe right now. I think it's about 220 hp and about 310 Nm

    Never had problems with the piston number 4?

      I had an issue with the 3th cylinder. You can see it from my previous videos :D

    Did you program the catalyst out or does it work with the normal software?

      Just left the rear O2 sensor unpluged. MIL is on but no limp mode and has all the power.

      Did you do only the downpipe dot flames? Or Any other Mods?

      I have the bigger injector with 98RON tune, but with the OE downpipe and catalytic converter there where no flames.

    How did you break your engine in

    • @SATSMotors
      @SATSMotors  ปีที่แล้ว

      I used Motul mineral oil. First built up the oil pressure with the starter, then started the engine and let it idle. When the engine was warmed up did the rev sweep upto 3000 rpm. Holded the rpm at 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 and all rpm's for 30s. Did this several times. Then let it cool down. Warmed the engine again and went for a drive. Drived up to 3000 rpm and didn't go over 0.5bar of boost. Drived on a road where I could use different rpm's. After 500km oil change and then I was ready to go full boost and rpm's
