volume overload can be taken care of by removing the fluid by crrt , sepsis incidence is not increaed and filter risk has to be balanced with systemic bleed risk . most units in alf do crrt without AC in ALF . See and Bellomo Crit Care (2021) 25:1 doi.org/10.1186/s13054-020-03448-7

6 months definition is from the United states and UK. In India, we see all ALF patients within 4 weeks on onset of illness. Prof Shalimar
