Good comparison. I like the Parker 55SL Semi-Slant, but the pressure must be really very light.
I scoop all my soaps into the bowl - it's definitely not so messy. ;-)

Yep, bowl lather is definitely not messy, but the skin and beard don't get so ready and prepped for the shave as face lathering.
That's has been my experience and is my own opinion.
I prefer the messy that I can clean after to a not so good shave. IMO, of course.

@@Double-Y Hello again, sir. Thank you for your answer. I tried face-lathering when I was beginning with wet shaving. I did it maybe wrong, but always messy. I didn't like it. Since then I make lather in the bowl, but when I spread it on my face I do it pretty long - around 3-4 minutes to make use of the soap qualities on the facial hair.
I'm not sure if it's so effective on the stubble like direct face-lathering, but it works for me. YMMV of course. 🙂
Yes - it takes a bit more time, but few minutes with the bowl are still OK for me.
I consider wet shaving for my head. Until now I've been using clipper to cut my hair to 0.5 mm. I'm not sure how much irritation will it take to wet shave with a razor. How is your approach to head shaving? Thank you for your advice. 😉
That's actually a good work around, I think that if you take time in your face working it, it will do a good job.
As for the head shave, for me, it took me some time and try and errors. The first few times, I got some irritation around the back, but now I can do it well and feel great and with a good finish.
By the way, I always do it in the shower and finish with alum and witch hazel both.
I will do a video on it, but it will take some time, I already promised that that will happen when I get to 5k subs.

Very good point indeed, regarding the price of the Parker. 😆😁For me personally (only my personal opinion ✌🙂) the size and the weight of the Fatip (slant and regular) are excellent. In my opinion this is why the razor is so well balanced. 👍
