As monumental as her Break Every Rule World Tour was worldwide, she had some trouble selling out large arenas & baseball stadiums in the U.S./Canada - ergo, when Foreign Affair became a MONSTER success in Europe, she decided to thank that crowd with a stadium tour since Europe was how she “reversed it” on America to even have her comeback in 1983/1984.

From the Private Dancer Tour on. During the BER World Tour, Tina ONLY did arenas and stadiums, both in North and South America (notably, Brazil), Levant, East and Southeast Asia, Europe (which literally broke records) and Australia. In America, she sold out 97% of arenas in 1985 and 69% in 1987, as well as 99% in 2000 - the biggest tour worldwide of that year.
