I was so mad at this maze, i even hacked the game for plumes, and used like 70 of them, only to reach the end to witness that there is a golden chest, which means that this part should be done COMPLETELY UNDAMAGED

I died over 38 times in this platform area and gave up after Death started laughing at me, good thing I have up cause Jesus Christ look how frikin long that is!!!!
Thanks so much for this video! A few minor changes have been made since you did this (slightly different trap types at the beginning, and fewer enemies in a place or 2), but this served as a guide for me to make it through myself using no feathers! I was a Blood Knight and used Acolyte as my 2nd class because of Divine Force. On my winning run I didn't need it though.
I was so angry about this maze, after dying more than forty times I ended up giving up, now that I saw the item that picks up in the video, I realized that it's not worth going through this suffering. 😅

Damn you really know your jumps I heard the arena is after this but why the heck did they decide to make this damn gauntlet to begin with Death's Gambit is not a platformer for f sake
To be honest, parkour is not too heavy (the only problem is that if you want to get the full reward- you need to go through parkour without feathers, and this is very exhausting). In the same Hollow Knight, it's much harder, It seems to me

Actually, game fees better after Afterlife, where develops added some platform parts and consider that their's game is not Salt and Sanctuary, it's more platformer with Dark Souls mechanics and not the other way round.
But sections with hard platforming is exhausting for a mere player. And DS's part of fanbase isn't gonna like this. And platformer's part of fanbase feels the same about fighting part.
In the end, in average, game should "applease" both parts. And Path of Cruelty is for advanced platforming while Heroic bosses are advanced for DarkSouls players.
P.S: The bad thing is, that I'm the lore fanbase, so I had to do both of these advanced parts :D
@@ArturFlintchannel Me neither I'm into story and lore I'm good at platforming heck I can do all these It's just I'm already exhausted from the path leading here then they smack me with this to get to the arena eff no! I'll just watch from TH-cam instead

Thanks! In the "journey's end" location, you need to go down from the first death's statue, breaking through the bridge, after which there will be a passage at the very bottom on the left

The same problem, and no, it's impossible to go back. I abandoned my NG+6 a few days ago out of exactly this problem. I tried to go to dev-room, tried to hack game files straight, but nothing worked. So, I'm waiting for good videoguide to continue the game
Where do you get Ash's other tome? One comes from the half way point, is the other one in a phoenix chest?
Both volumes can be found in this location. I just picked up one of them before recording the video.
@@combatpriest3226 Thanks. I actually just did it. The new aura and a dark weapon trivialized it completely. I only used 4 leafs of gaia.
@@combatpriest3226 Честно - как любителю лора (и тому, кто ненавидит подобный платформинг, что в Hollow Knight, что тут, что в обоих частях Соли и Святилищ), можете привести оригинал (предпочтительно) или перевод (судя по вашей версии) его второго журнала?
Секция с прыжками, без подобного оружия на тьму и с моей криворукостью... Больно, слишком больно. Даже в Гамбите Таламуса эта секция была сложной, а тут по этим шарам прыгать... Тем более.

To kill them, you need to have a special weapon. The first is the Inquisitor's halberd (falls from the Eldritch Council). The second is a magic volume, I had it. How to get it is shown here th-cam.com/video/H6Bz_sehao0/w-d-xo.html (9:38)
theyre weak to darkness. it the only element that will hurt them.

Yeah, nah, i aint doing this, i can barely do the ending. Hardest "soulsvania" i've played and i managed to get 106% on Hollow Knight.
This game gets way too hard by the end
All this just for 2 seeds of knowledge and 1 immortalite stone. Waste of time.
You get Ash 's second tome at the end and a Crash down upgrade
