Ferries Bueller's Day Off is my favorite High School movie of all time because it teaches the importance of having fun throughout your life. The comedy is hilarious and enjoyable. Matthew Broderick's performance is on point and makes you wanna be the character. All life is not about worry and work, it is about relationships, seeing the positive things in life, and accept that challenges in which life gives you.

Only, @MusiqluvCA, the consequences aren’t cool for kids who get caught ditching. 😮

I had graduated high school before Ferris Bueller's Day Off came out, but I watched Animal House before going to high school so I figure it all even's out. Part of Hughs" brilliance in cast cohesion was having these guy's develop improvisational trust in each other. It's GREAT watching them describe their characters and their dynamic interplay. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was John Hughs behind the camera recording this. It's obvious that the chemistry between the actors played a large roll in the success of this intelligent and hilarious movie. My favorite part of the character Ferris Bueller was him shattering the 4th wall and speaking directly to the audience. He was inviting us in as an equal member of the cast. I'm pushing 60 and I still watch this movie on a regular basis and LMAO.

I still can't get over Alan Ruck being 29 in this video. He's now 68??? No way! (Well, I'm now 63, so, yeah... So surreal!)

By watching this conversation between then, it looks like Cameron is actually Ferris (dominant) and Ferris (M.Broderick) is Cameron during this thread.

Alan Ruck is obviously an educated guy - he knew the correct term for an airship and used it without thinking when joking about the mic boom. Definitely one of the best films of the 80's. An all time classic.
