AE, never forget about us coh1 die hards! My friend has made a keen observation and I too agree - with coh3 on the horizons, there has been a significant uptick in the coh1 playerbase. Coh2, not so significant but a slight increase nevertheless. Point being is there has never been a better time in the history of gaming to cast a 15 years old game.
use retreat to the capitaine ! fuck!!!! just use it! Why nobody do retreat to the capitaine position, will they can do it?? Giving you a very good trick to defend the capitain when he got agressed by a lonely armored car : retreat to the position a lieutenant, a bren tommies and a piat squad : the armor car is gone! That's also really good to avoid artillery, even on your base : just keep the capitain away, and retreat to him. So good also to be able to run across the map betwin two points : capitain on a cut off point, your truck in te middle off the map on a hight ressource point. You can run from one to the other that's so usefull. And if used to attack, so damned powerful. Just find the ennemy with your capitain, even in a bren carrier to move kicker. And then retreat all your infantery to the capitain poistion, you just nearlly teleport to the point you want to attack ! in the base (dont do it vs PE !), just in the back off mortar, or wathever you wanted.
