They are so good live! There is backtrack but that is not Memphis's choice! Full Sail since it's an audio engineering and video editing school probably wanted the bands to sound as studio sounding as possible. Matty would have sounded fine without it, he's always spot on live. So they made a bad decision by making the artists use effects and backtrack
