Such an under rated GBV gem. There is something wonderfully regal and cohesive about the vibe throughout this album. Sometimes this band gets to a place where you just shake your head and say it will never be better than this...
Ain't that the truth. I'm ticked that I didn't find out about GBV until this album came out, then I couldn't get enough of them. I saw them three times, first in Denver when they were touring in support of this album, and then a few years later in back-to-back shows in Austin and Dallas on their farewell tour.
Not to slight the 'classic' lineup (especially Sprout), but the Pollard/ Gillard/ Farley/ Tobias/ March lineup was always my favorite. They flat-out ROCKED.
I'll always love Tobin for his songwriting contributions, but GBV are an undeniably better live band whenever Doug is around! I think the current line-up does a great job as well.
Thank you a billion times over for this. I'm 18, and when I first heads this album at 16, I thought it was the shot. The fact that this is all live, makes it even better. Long Live BOB

Amazing. The sound of a band at the top of their game. These songs are so intricately arranged and they knock them out like it's nothing.
I think this show makes me appreciate the album quite a bit more. They are just killing it here. I wish I was there.
Bob sounds completly sober;)
Friggin amazing band that never got the credit they deserved. I'm glad I got to see them twice.

would LOVE more full album shows!!!!!!!!
Best GBV lineup ever... Doug Gillard gave this band a whole new dimension.
Doug is the man.
He, and Nate Farley never equalled.
I always dug this album since I first heard it, but now I think I might like the live version more.
+sydbarrett5 me too!
yikes this is a golden nugget of GBV greatness...Eureka signs! There is nothing greater than this at this moment.
This is a great album I think and it's really fabulous to have it live. ♡GBV
I was at this show!
Doug is on fire here! 🎸
this recording/mix is absolutely killer
The performance and the recorded audio on this are stunning... absolutely perfect.
after pondering this show i have come up with the same conclusion...this is an enthusiastic most incredible time capsule.
I feel bad for Carboro. On this same tour they jammed for 3 hrs. in Philly!!!!
Glory!!

they were without a doubt the tightest lineup

fucking HOT! What a great performance of their most underappreciated album. ✊

Unbelievable. Fantastic!
Storm Vibrations. Holy Fucking SHit.
I find it odd that they switched "Pretty Bombs" and "Eureka Signs", but aside from that this show is gold.
thanks for this really amazing sound board recording.
This is my favorite TH-cam video ever
Best record
