    What kind of college design are you making? Is it for a sweater, a shirt, maybe even a jersey? Let me know below! 👇

      Im trying to make some vintage school tshirts. Does this program have the grunge looking Varsity letters? Like the same font you used but the grunge looking.

      @@ChurchMouse22 You can pretty much make any font grungy with our texture feature, and then you can clip or alpha mask the texture to the design to make it weathered :)

      @Kittl - This video should have a huge prominent caution displayed. Anyone who wants to make "collegiate style" athletic apparel designs has to be extremely careful. This is an area in which copyright violations are rampant and easy to commit, even unintentionally. As you stated at the beginning, the first step is to make sure that the sports team name is made up. It must be completely fictitious. For universities that include a state or city in the school's name, usually the state name or other location name is also copyrighted in a variety of fonts. Using the school's location name in a font that is copyrighted is also a violation. Similar name copyright violations could occur for professional and semi-professional teams in all sports, as well as for club teams, if the club has been registered as an organization.
      All of the universities and professional sports teams have commercial agents that spend a lot of time and money tracking copyright infringements and the unauthorized use of team copyrighted materials for the organizations they represent.
      Of course, for anyone who wants to do sports apparel, it is always possible to apply for permission to use the team name and pay the royalties.

    Is there a way to use Kittle to create embroidery designs which are super popular right now, also for this type of style... A tutorial on that would be awesome!

    • @Kittldesign

      Hey there! Yes you can definitely use Kittl for your embroidered designs, and we are putting together a video with some tips on how to do this, however it will be similar to using any other design program I suppose. You just need to make sure of your spacing as well as what you color limitations are so that you don't end up with colors that don't work!

      One important note about embroidery. It's truly a 3D process in which you need to understand stitch density, direction, underlay for satin stitching, thread jumps vs thread cuts. Be cautious. And good luck

      We meant copying the C over to create the D. You can copy and paste by holding the ALT or OP + Drag option (instead of hitting CMD C + V.

    I love Kittl, thank you for these videos! I subscribed to the 2nd level. Is there much of a difference in high resolution files with the mid level to highest level? Also, what's the best file to use for heat applied transfers? It seems like SVG works best. Do I optimize it or leave it? Thanks again!

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! The different between Pro and Expert plan is mainly space in terms of upload space, and project space, as well as access to exclusive templates, which are marked with a crown. For your heat transfer files, typically a large resolution, transparent PNG should work fine, as well as an SVG like you mentioned. Glad you like using Kittl!

    Whoa slow down guy. You lost me at the delete V and O and copy and paste. I tried this numerous times without success. Your instructions are harried and confusing at best. What's the rush?

    • @ymarkone
      @ymarkone 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Remove the C and O click on OLORAD copy (ctrl-c) and Paste (ctrl-v) replace the new OLORAD with C then left justify to move it. Do the same for the O and right justify it.

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there, sorry for the confusion. Looks like Ymarkone answered well below. The C, the O, and the OLORAD are all separate text boxes. They were just duplicated 3 times, and deleted the necessary letters to ensure that the C and O were separate and could be made larger. The technique is using the left and right justification setting to place them on the left and right side while keeping them along the curved transformation line. Hope this helps clear things up.
