Completely agree. There's no difference between going to a casino or the cinema. You're just paying to have fun a couple hours. The fact that you could make money, in a very unlikely scenario, is an unimportant detail. I don't really like slots tho, they're pretty boring, but that's just my taste.
Nixxiom, To start off, I just wanted to say I have no problem with people getting better cuts for streaming. Get that bag, streaming is something that could potentially be short lived. I understand the want to just get the best deal and make your money. But, I disagree with some of what you said, Gambling for instance. The problem with gambling is IT IS inherently bad when you are talking about children. You wouldn't let a child drink alcohol, and a child shouldn't be gambling either. These are both extremely addictive pastimes that could potentially be catastrophic to a younger mind later on. And although Kick seems to be trying to separate itself from gambling with not running gambling adds or necessarily pushing gambling content, Kick has built its following on the backs of streamers who frequently gamble on stream. Those streamers (like Adin Ross) also have a majority of their audiences being made up of children or young men. I think that may be what peoples biggest issue is with Kick, the brand they have created through who they first convinced to come over to stream, and not necessarily the corporation that runs it. Look at Rumble as an example of this. It is a cesspit because of who is on it, not because of the corporation that built it being an "immoral" entity. Why did Kick bring on gambling streamers like Train and Adin, when they could've tried to bring on large gaming or chat streamers like Fextralife, Hasan, Pokemane, Ironmouse... They all play games or have just chat a significant amount more than gambling. They could've cultivated a better community through doing something like that instead. They just really seem to have shot themselves in the foot here is all. Arguing the morality of corporations is like trying to talk about who's the best when you are at the bottom of the barrel, so that argument alone is just silly imo, so I wont touch on that. I dont know if you'll respond to this, but you seemed conflicted and were asking for input about this topic. So, I thought I would give the perspective of someone who is just a viewer of all this.
@@NixxiomLIVE The first part when you say you go to church or any other religious institution to learn morals is so wrong you they teach you an ideology a true sense of morals right and wrong is some thing you are born whit it depends on your personality as a person. churches just like gambling institutions they are predatory and both groom people they play into your psychic thinking what you are doing is good and makes you happy. gambling on it self is not evil but when you precondition people and set them up for gambling such as slot looking machines in video games young generations are growing up on this and think it will be very normal. the other day a gambling company came to my door and wanted to give me free gambling scratches not because its a fun thing to do now and then no its to get people hooked literally the same tactic a drug dealer use. i used to work in a youth center and the stuff that happens on social media video games site,s like twitch whit its porn the gambling on kick are indeed on a large scale problematic. you say that well then the stock market is problematic because you take risks/chances the difference is the average and majority of people cant even trade or have access to the stock market because you need a certain amount of wealth and geus what majority of people on this planet are poor as fuck. but you can gamble any where whit out problems. you bring up Alcohol is the number 2 killer on this planet Tobacco number 1 you say well its fine when you moderate problem is not all people can moderate especially if things are so destructive like gambling/porn/substance abuse. the problem is that both kick and twitch are in need of regulation by government same goes for certain video games. dont get me wrong most of the time i agree whit you on issue but i do suggest getting out of the house gambling isnt as innocent as you think especially since companies prey on the weak minded same whit churches. i can go on and on about these problems but text never does it justice.

there is nothing wrong with streaming on kick.
Let's be real dude, twitch had gambling streams for a long time before it was banned so it doesn't has the moral ground in any way.
