In Scum, all the puppets (zombies) can jump through windows and smash open doors. A really good tip is; The first thing to do when you spawn in is create a stone knife, stone axe, 35# wooden bow, backpack and arrows. Then you are all set to get the adventure started =)
Great to see more people trying out this awesome game! It is still in Early Access version 0.95 but it will get a full release soon! =D
And the metal saw you see on the crafting menu, if you press on that icon you can see all the different kinds of cutting tools that is needed for that specific recipie. All things have durability so using them will destroy them. Stone knifes have the lowest durability of them all.

OK I hope you read this.. B4 going near any building harvest bushes and stones MAKE a few spears, Then kill a zombie and use everything on that zombie including flesh to make an improvised back pack . you will need that little bit of room to get things started. After that you might be able to start looting. LOOTING? this is a game that doesnt let you just loot anything. becareful what you loot.. Any weapon but mostly food and water is what you want. changing clothes for better ones is a good idea, rip old ones up to make bandages... If you get this far you may survive.

This really is a great game, with almost 1500 hours in i still find myself running around like its the first time. Hope you enjoy.
I started playing this game last year. They’ve made lots of updates… some of which I didn’t like.
Going to watch your play through as your fresh eyes.
Just watch your introduction to SCUM… as you can tell the game has a rather steep learning curve, but all in all there’s a lot to do and progress gets easier the more you learn… Luthis, Mr Fuedal, & Raykit offer some great tutorials to help you get off the ground and make grind seem less difficult.

the sticks went into your weps slot
basic rules of survival/food/water/clothes/weapons.Everything in this game you will have to work very hard for. eventually you can get military armor and some sweet weps. UNTIL that time focus on staying alive. you will always be hungry and thirsty.
Tip: You can cut up your socks and underwear to make strips in a pinch… but I wouldn’t cut up my outer clothes. You’ll freeze.

standing close to the pile of stuff you have on the ground will allow you to craft an item.
OH and btw thank you for playing this game .I like to see that you are really challenging your play style.7 to die is a fun land compared to this. If this was a real life scenario you would be cautious about taking on more than one zed at a time. So think of it like that.

Ok you made the axe. and you can use it as a wep. but its crap. means you have to get close. also means if there are 2 zeds you are gona bleed again. make stone knive with that on the ground where the sticks and rope is open craft and make spear.
Idk why your chat told you to head to the trader and not loot along the way, maybe they didn't want you to find any pants? there is nothing at the trader unless you have money and enough fame points that they will then sell to you, I guess you CAN sell stuff you find tho..
Why do youtubers play games without looking at the controls? I can't watch this :(
How long did it take you to learn all of the controls, did you sit there and study them all before playing for like an hour or more considering there are so many?
