  • It's taken some time to get these, but now we can unbox these Rambukk Raiders from Fireforge. These sculpts are very nice, however please be aware there is only 6 in a box, not 12 as advertised.
    I believe I'm the first to unbox these on TH-cam!

    Thanks for watching. Please ignore the dog in the last few seconds, I had a knock on the door 😀

      You'd be surprised how many people who'd subscribe just to hear or even see the dog wandering around while you unbox.
      Admittedly, I'm one of them. Dogs are great.

    Thanks for the review and bringing these to my attention. Yes they are a little large but I’m thinking they’re going to still look good with my other Oathmark dwarf troops.

      I'm yet to build any oathmark dwarfs, but they are on my list to do. I'm confident they will work well together.

    Surely four command legs and six mounted makes ten models? So how do they get to twelve models?

      As much as I like these, and I do like them. This makes them really expensive to create a unit with.

    Great figures, with whats in the box and price, a bit of a P... take, if you forgive that! So Oathmark for me.

      I dont blame you, I was quite annoyed by the quantity in the box. They are pretty nice, but oathmark is much better for value, thats for sure.

    Nice dynamic posing on the rams, anyway. Looks like you might be able to get away with mounting some brands of human cavalry riders on them if you wanted, and looking at scale-bloated GW thing the "dwarves" could be halfling pistoleers easily enough if you cared to play AoS or WFB. Rather like the idea of angry halflings on angrier sheep doing drive-by shootings on the forces of Chaos. "Hippity-hoppity, get off of my property" fantasy style.

      Hahaha yeah I like what picture you painted there!! GW models are huge compared to most anything else.
      I have seen a few people use these models for Oathmark, using human Cavalry rules.

    • @richmcgee434
      @richmcgee434 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blackdicegamingltd Sure, they're pretty size-appropriate for more-or-less normal light cavalry alongside anything but GW. Work fine for Dragon Rampant too, that's very good about the "use what minis you like" thing. IIRC Reaper's old Warlord rules had stats for ram- (and bear-) mounted Dwarven cavalry too.

    Why are you the only one reviewing theses on TH-cam? These minis are 3rd party ram riders, If you want an affordable alternative to GW lotr sbg minis this is your option!

    Just got a box and the command sprue was missing. Even with the command sprue it only makes 10 models. Not very good. Likely the last purchase I make from Fireforge.

      Thats really frustrating, please try can contact who you bought it from, or maybe fireforge themselves. I do hope you get it sorted.

      I like the models, but a whole army would cost you a fortune. I preferred the undead models. Look at the oathmark boxes, they are good value for money.

      @@blackdicegamingltd Lion Rampant has small army size :) The Oathmark dwarf heavy infantry do look good and cheaper per model.

    Games workshop have lost their way with over complicated and scale creep madness on their models. Less is more.

      I'm building a chaos army at the moment, and I only have 20 models and already it's taken over more space then my kings of war army.

      I'm currently building a free dwarves for my newest kings of war army. They take up much less room due to multi basing

      @blackdicegamingltd  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have 5 chaos knights, that take up more space then my unit of 10 abyssal horsemen, 10 gargoyles, 5 hounds, friend and 3 molochs lol. Definitely easier to display kings of war.
