Did you try out the DIC mode? I think this is one of the crucial features. The company promotes it as „DIC READY.

I wonder how much extra it would cost to convert it to dic? Its already not so cheap but I guess we only live once haha

i see no possibility to DIC in the condensor dont see the possibility for putting the 5 neccessary filter slots

i would spend it in an old used Leitz or Zeiss but with good optics. A good used Steromicroscop and a used Ultramicrotom. So with 5000 Euros you will have the perfect equippement

Thanks for this Oliver. That's a reasonable price for a modern modular 'scope with plan semi apos. What is the correction, btw? Is tis similar to, for example, a Zeiss fluorite? What's the NA of the top lens of the condenser. What's the wattage equivalent of the LED? You mentioned adding a 60x lens. May I suggest removing the OI and adding a couple of WIs. Does Euromex do water immersions at a reasonable price? If not, I would recommend Lomo with exte ders. The 70X 1.23. is amazing. Happy microscopy, and thanks again.

i dont se the DIC-possibilty of the condensor , i dont see centering of the condensor, i dont see infinity...over 5000 bugs is far to care

the Leitz of the 60s had swingout condensor for peaple who are not abel to screw off the front lense
