Either it's Egyptian mythology with tank gaining mythology or it's the season of the witches now... although there is another season with an unrevealed theme to come... If it's the Egyptian, now it's pretty shitty that the mythical isn't Pharah's, but you'd have to skip the tank and that would create problems. In other words: Blizzard is just throwing seasons and mythicals at any cost to make money.
oh something that has flown under the radar is that in alec and aaron’s recent interview, alec said that lifeweaver will be receiving some semi big changes the next patch (season 12). last time i checked they were looking to make his platform more alluring to allies and decrease his weapon swap time/ make it more responsive. excited to see what that actually entails because lifeweaver could be a genuinely good character without the heal bot play style and some tweaks
The way I see it, Juno could get an Egyptian skin. I was thinking of Horus (the god that takes the form of a bird), making her wings like that of the Egyptian god and making her helmet a mask of the god. I think people would be disappointed if the Mythic is not for Ramattra, he is a beautiful looking hero in itself and a Mythic skin for him would look awesome. Simultaneously, I feel like Winton and Ball are not the best for a Mythic skin. I don't really see how you could turn those two into something very interesting.
It'll be business attire, and everyone will be dress as if they work a 9-6pm in cooperate office. Mythic skin is gonna be bastion and his turret mode looks like a desk, and the bird is like one of those perpetual motion water drinking birds.

Really hope for Egyptian theme, temple of Anumbis clash map and Egyptian god mythic skin. You could change the head piece to be different Egyptian gods with different animal heads. I wasn’t super impressed with clash so interested to see what they’ve done to potentially make it more fun.
No, Rammatra Anubis. You guys seem like you forgot the story of OW. If they don't make Rammatra Anubis skin with Egyptian BP, they don't even know the story of their own game anymore.

Looking forwards for S12! Especially for Juno, and hopefully the Clash mode :D I had a lot of fun with that mode in the test period. I really hope for the Egyptian Mythology themed season as well! When you google new frontiers which is the name of the next season. It brings up this galaxy board game, so maybe Juno’s season since she is from mars it’s gonna be witches but it’s not gonna be Halloween witches.. they would probably go with cosmic witches kinda like the sailor moon outfits from paladins. I’d love cosmic witch season since we already have witch mercy and witch kiriko
the character releases have never had a connection to the season theirselves example: illari, a child of the sun got put into the season themed around ROBOTS
I hope you’re right about getting a lot of content but my guess it may just be a standard season. We’ll get Juno, a space theme, and a dps mythic (they’re going to have to start doubling up occasionally since there’s so many more heroes in that role). And then s13 we get Clash with two maps.
each role has 4 mythic skins but tank, so it's only fair tank gets a mythic they doubled up on support knowing they can't put another one out until season 13 minimum
It’s going to be space. The next theme will be nasa, space program stuff. We are getting a space hero. It makes sense to give us a space theme. Our mythic will be eco, dva, or phara. I’m hoping D.VA. I really don’t want a whimsical skin for dva. A space jet theme would be so cool.
I also think the next theme is going to be Egyptian mythology, and my theory is that it was supposed to be the theme for season 11 but they got approached by Hasbro for the Transformers collab and decided to switch the themes around. I actually think the mythic is going to be Pharah because they to need to spread the tank mythics out, and at the end of the season 10 battle pass, there was an egyptian dance emote for Pharah. I think they might also remake the Horizon lunar colony instead of Anubis to fit better with the release of Juno, but Anubis does make a lot of sense. I have seen that Juno has a line that relates to looking at Earth from the lunar colony.
While I am looking forward to the upcoming seasons, I think they should slow their cadence down. The current release schedule got us a lot of reskins in the last battle pass, and I think just adding credits in the prestige tiers would work as an effective way to extend the passes while letting the devs focus on making new content rather than needing a specific amount of stuff every few months. (Also, we should be able to equip the mythic flourish to other weapons. But that's unrelated to my points about the upcoming seasons.)

Word for word from the dev update video, so definitely season 13 at the earliest. Also some time ago they teased they'll have some Overwatch announcements at Gamescom (August 21-25), so maybe we'll learn more about map reworks then.
I agree, this season HAS to be the Egyptian one, it just makes sense. As for the mythic skin, if it's a tank, I agree, Ramatra. But personally I wonder if it will be another DPS, in which case=== PHARA! As for the character swapping, I think having a "hero cooldown" might work. Switching off a character means you can't pick them again for like 180 seconds. Enough that you have to think about swaps you make but without being totally crippling.

I doubt they would give an Egyptian mythic to an Egyptian hero it seems like a waste. Plus in early Ramattra concept art he was Egyptian so they might base the mythic off that

I think the tank buff is noticeable in some tanks, but not anything I would consider problematic as some people said. I heard complaints about Mauga specifically, but if you have the right heroes I find him very easy to take down. Bastion of course, but also with Soldier I notice taking Mauga down isn't all that hard as people make it out to be. I think Junker Queen is currently the most annoying and though hero to play against. If they don't make an Anubis skin for Ramattra, I'll be heavily disappointed, he even looks like Anubis! His ribcage looking torso would fit well with Anubis' death theme, he's the perfect hero for Anubis and seems to be based off Anubis already, so they HAVE to do it.
I Did like event get us 3 cards to choose our abilities definitely stop me from switching characters I feel no need to But maybe change it a little so characters not overpowered if that returns to the game. As a support, I don’t like being 2 hit your dead should be 3 hits your dead or at least have some little bit of health left. the new season I think will be witches and wizards
i do NOT think they're going for swap tokens. if they are, it's an awful choice. the way they've spoken about role queue and 6v6 recently makes me think they're going to enstate role limits while removing role queue- and then see if putting that in 6v6 fixes the counterwatch problem. they seem to want to enable more flexibility in team comps at this moment in time, not less.
i thought clash would be coming in season 12 but idk the ow team hasnt said a word about clash since april and all their advertising for season 12 is just juno
8:00 Calling it: its 3 more story missions and another PvE event like Underworld using the PvE area in either Rialto or Havana that were left unused and were created for hero missions just like the one in King's Row that was used for that free PvE event.
That would be so surprising and exciting but I guess it is quite hard to happen. Because devs said the story missions weren't sold enough and ex-devs said all future story missions got cancelled on Kotaku. But we can see they've made the Suravasa mission already with new Talon soldier designs and so, maybe we might get that one only for free? And another mission in relatively poor quality on Rialto or Havana?

OW2 needs to focus less on more modes, and instead more on new maps for existing modes. Push still only has 4 maps. Flashpoint only has 2 maps. We've also only got 3 OW2 escort maps, not including those copy-pasted from OW1. Blizzard is like an unmedicated ADHD child, jumping compulsively from one thing to another with no ability to focus on any one thing they've already abandoned.
tbh i do agree most changes are not that bad but i do want to point out one giving the support passive to everyone and an extra 25 to 50 hp on top yeah that was a really stupid change in my opinion espesialy for some heros that get dived a lot cof cof ana zen cof cof yeah not being able to 3 shot ppl as ana even with the nade dmg buff is not fun at all but for the rest i'm all good oh wait i do miss 6v6 but at the same time i think i sould be like open q bring 6v6 back as a side game mode but dont make it the replacement of 5v5 you know what i mean? ps: i hope you'll get better soon demzzies

I sincerely doubt that they will be putting a Reaper rework into the game in the same season a hero releases because it would be considered "a waste of content" by someone on their marketing team. This sucks because Reaper is currently worthless, has been worthless for several seasons, and will continue to remain in this limbo state for AT LEAST another season.

Nah I think when it comes to mythic weapons skins they’re going to come out every half way through the season, but for everything else sounds spot on!

Every season that starts with an even number should be six verse six therefore, every season that has an odd number should be 5V5
