Z-one arrived, and with a final boss banger theme, let's gooo.
I'm not into the 5'DS story, tbh, but I watched his clips and heard to his original theme, and I looove the design and voice (in japanese, of course, English is not good)
Hope you enjoy it, cos Timelords will not let you enjoy the duel at all if you have not how to getting of from them
Edit: Okay, so yeah, I didn't put the ace card as part of the thumbnails cos I didn't recognize it, okay? Don't blame me, I didn't watch the anime more than the third episode nor knew that the monster behind the field was a card that I never saw in my life, just enjoy the music, don't you dare to insult me because of this

Crazier than that, he’s supposedly hundreds of years old due to technology. The suit from what I can tell is pressurized. It shows how decrepit he is, as his insides are no longer pressurized by his tissues. I imagine he’s also paralyzed from the neck down as the artificial hands on the nautilus shell are the ones playing the cards.
@@elderliddle2733 Furthermore, he's drawing on the power of two old school Yugioh cards that increase life points imbedded in his machine. Mooyan Curry and Dian Keto the Cure Master; heck, Z-ONE has voice lines for using them.
Guess it's telling that even despite all of that, he's nearing his end.
"embrace your end and give into despair, you cannot hope to save the future", easily some great words for someone so powerful, I plan to continue my master duel crusade of crushing Synchros with Timelords

@@buccaneerguy8197 When they say it plays his theme, I think they mean Yusei’s DL theme as it plays throughout the whole first piece of the song.
The Final Boss of 5ds. And truelly the one of if not the most final bossy track in the entire OST so far
It should be. Apart from DSOD, we don’t have any specific final bosses EXCEPT for Z-ONE.

Like, monarch climax theme is the most epic soundtrack card game could have.
Master Duel in general is just inferior to Duel Links in terms of quality of life.
Duel Links has both quantity/quality music, voiced characters, and better monster animations
MD has great music but DL has great ANIME music
have to agree with that they are both good, but DL gets the nod due to really believing their music is more distinctive and just overall better imo.
Timelords was the 1st deck I ever made from scratch. I remember getting the 1st one printed and getting the rest just when they came out. Im happy with this

Yo, just a heads up, it seems like theres a new music for when a dm character is losing, was playing normally with ishizu and out of nowhere a new song started playing when the opponent summoned their ace.

Future Evil Yusei Theme 現れろ！シューティングスタードラゴン！
Honestly, I kind of like how ridicously overpowered the effects of his cards are just by themselves (or at least that's the idea), helps make the pt. that he is pretty much god in a scale beyond the Earthbound or Polar since those are "nation gods" while Z-One's are TIME (read: a fundamental aspect of reality)
His deck pretty much consists of everlasting immortal gods who cannot be killed and are immune to destruction effects while resetting themselves nonstop. They're truly the ultimate lifeforms.
So powerful that Duel Links had to errata them HAHAHAHA.
The Time Machine "Gods" aren't exactly referenced as actual "gods", except Sephylon. The others are referenced as biblical archangels that represent an aspect of the Tree of Life known in Kabbalistic belief.

Playing zone in duel links, most people don’t have cards to get rid of timelords. So not playing zone’s sephylon this theme plays and watches them try everything but fails
I love seeing z-one players because timelords are a free win for me. shiranui samurai effect ends their entire game

Having been gone from Duel Links up till just a week ago, and finally hearing his voice in a language I can understand.. I am rocking the ultimate TimeLord deck for a little while.

To me it sounds like zone .zone .save us but it’s probably something in latin
@@offtheapex I just started typing random words in a translator after reading his character description. Illiaster refers to him as "God". The few words I got from the translator are "Sanctas" which is either "holy" or "saint". The other word I would guess is either "Deimos" or "Deus". Deimos being a "God of Terror and Dread" in Greek mythology and "deus" being "God" in latin. My guess would be theyre just chanting "Holy God" or "Holy Saint". Something like that. It bothers me that I cant confirm it.

@@xUN5UNGx That translation actually make sense. Considering ALL of Z-ONE's monsters are biblical archangels. And those very biblical archangels happen to chant their god's holy name repeatedly over 'n over again in heaven. And with Z-ONE being somewhat of a godlike figure, it fits into context.

Better don't duel link nowaday isn't fun anymore, too complicated since link, combo chain is too long, meta keep changing and p2w unless you still have a smart brain or only event stuff then go ahead

There unfortunately isn't a dub for the last part, you'll have to watch it in sub. Its pretty good in sub.

While I love Z-one I have to admit his mask kinda bothers me in that there isn’t like a visor or anything, just a sliver of an opening for his one eye.
He does actually have both eyes as his mask breaks off in the anime (and his losing portrait ingame).
The shadow only showing one eyes is just done for dramatic effect.
