Really happy you enjoyed the video! I recommend to start planning early so you have access to the most business class award availability. Enjoy your trip!
I graduated a little over a year ago so my points earning now is not from college bills but prior to graduating, I was using my day-to-day expenses such as rent to reach my signup bonuses. I was not using tuition to reach bonuses though. The college bills did certainly help my points earning
You are correct, LAX currently does not have any routes on the new ANA products. I flew it back in December before they changed the aircraft on the LAX-HND route.
Of course very few people would choose to spend $50,000 on a trip like this. But it is still what it would have cost. International business class and 5-star hotels aren't cheap 😂
Looking forward to hotels video
Keep it going Shaun! This is great!
Love these long and advanced videos buddy. keep em coming.. waiting for part 2
Glad you enjoyed it! Part 2 will be even more interesting due to how nice the hotels were at every destination
Super useful! Planning to travel the world after I graduate so I'm extremely thankful you made this video!

What was the total taxes + fees paid for these flights?
I forget the exact total off the top of my head but it was around $1,100 for me and around $750 for Jessica I think
I thought only sfo-hnd had the room on ana

I would never spend $50k on a trip like this. (Maybe $3-5k at most, and probably save 20+ hours of planning as well.)
Yes indeed
