Sorry, I'm watching this 10 months late but is a recruitment just touring the school and getting to know their program AND can you be recruited to more than one school.
Multiple schools can recruit you, but at least for track you can only take five visits. (Unless you choose to take “unofficial visits” which are completely unpaid for, then you can take more). You do tour the school and learn about the program but you also do a lot more like hangout with the team, do activities, go to dinners, etc. That’s why it’s typically a weekend long trip!!
I want to get a scholarship for track but my freshman year my 100m was 14.1 s and I’m going to be a sophomore I’m 5’0 and 115lbs I just want to be good but I feel like I’ll never get offered a scholarship 😞

Austin is an awful place? have you been to college station? lmfao I have and there is absolutely nothing great about that place. Only thing that's great is the rent. Broke people live in that city lmao

What would you suggest wearing to an official visit ?
athletic clothes bc the days are long! but also bring 1-2 cute/fun outfits just incase the team takes you to do something fun or dinner, etc.
