    Helpful info, guys! Just went through this w/ our son (now a commit to Louisville '25). We found the culture of the team and coaches to be a really big factor, and how would they see their fit w/ the team was big for our son. We appreciated that they are analyzing the recruit's character, too - definitely sensed that.

    Hey Kyle and Jason. Great Video! How do u think I could get the very first impression of the coach (or how you did), and then start the journey of convos, tape views, and college visits?

      The first impressions we had were via email. You can reach out to head coaches and assistant coaches to tell them why you should be on their team. Check out my other video “How to get recruited to be a D1 Athlete” too!

    what do you wear to an official visit? should it be casual when walking around the campus (sweatpants and a sweatshirt) or should you be wearing khakis and a collared shirt?

    • @KyleMillis
      @KyleMillis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whatever shows who you are, be yourself, wear your normal clothes id say. It will just be another way for the team to get to know who you are on a personal level.

    Could I succeed in swimming and get recruited by just swimming 50's (50 fly 50 breast 50 free).

    • @KyleMillis
      @KyleMillis  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Since there aren’t any 50s of stroke at the college level besides the 50 freestyle, I would say you would have more success if you swam longer distances.
