Doc is absolutely hustling through this set. BPM gotta be up around 135 and he gets in 20 plus songs in 40 minutes. Listen to that room, banger after banger. What a goddamn legend
I just found a Doc Martin Earth Grooves Cassette at a thrift store here in Vancouver. Great score as it was self released in "92!!! I miss Richards on Richards.
Henry this is INCREDIBLE footage. Thank you so much. I've been waiting to see if someone captured more of the early stuff on the west coast acid house vibe, and man, do you ever have it! Please do keep posting - I'm writing about the history of acid house + rave culture in Vancouver and these videos are more invaluable than you can imagine. As for Doc - this is a CLASSIC set, wide ranging, uplifting, and the crowd is just flowing and into it. Wow, what a night.
Ok, 38:46, KABOOM - "just subscribe to Northwest Raves." who is this talking? and is that Little T on the left asking why on the Net the magazines are months old (for events listings)? this is a little slice of ethnographic history man. well done. I was on [NWR] during this era.
Id give anything to go back to the mid 90s. It really was the best. Amazing
