I used to not like Bakugo’s character. But after watching the third season and watching the second movie I realized that Bakugo’s personality is hilarious. Whenever he is mean or aggressive now it is just funny to me😂
Just to clarify, All Might was not thrown into Deku. He used New Hampshire Smash to propel himself at Deku. Edit: I think you guys had talked at the part when he used it, and may have missed it.
So excited for you to see season 3 and you're right, this is definitely an episode where we see a glimpse of development in Bakugo's and Deku's relationship, I can't wait for you to see a certain episode in season 3 and I have a feeling you're really gonna love it from the way you felt watching this episode. Also, basically what they said at the end with the League of Villains is that they now have new members and they will start a new plan.

Fighting till the end is just so ingrained in his nature, he isn't a good fit for training/exams 😅 Nearly broke Deku's spine, too. Mina and Kaminari had the lowest grades of the class prior to the exam, but everyone still passed the written portion. Although they were probably still near, or at the bottom for the exam itself. The "Origin" episodes are more about when the characters start to grow and walk their path, rather than giving their backstory. It's like "once they are an adult, this is where to look for the origin of who they became". Was the same with Izuku (S1 E1) and Shoto (S2 E10). We already got a glimpse of Giran and some other Villains after Stain's defeat, at the end of S2 E18. They are only finishing semester 1/3 of their year 1/3, so they're still a long way off from graduation.
in my opinion Bakogu was taking the test as a real senario while Midoria was focusing on it as a test, so Bakugo sees Midoria a coward who would run away instead of fighting, while Midoria thinks that Bakugo is unrealistic and stubborn for thinking he can wing against All-Might. which makes me take Bakugo's side, I'm sorry but Midoria deserved a punch to the face 🤓

Just in case you didn’t notice already upon editing… but All-Might threw a punch and the power from it propelled himself into Deku, almost breaking his back lol. So it wasn’t Bakugo throwing him into Deku, it was All-might throwing himself into Deku lol. EDIT: Nvm lol just saw like 4 different comments saying pretty much exactly this
The reason why these episodes are called origin is because right now is their origin story. Their growth as heroes and background is right now. If they were adult heroes, these times would be cited as their origin story. At least that's how I interpreted it.
nothing against the others, i really like the whole group especially Alex, but i hope atleast for this show it will just be the two of you. there is less talking (wich is unavoidable in a bigger group) and you miss out less dialoge.
Fully agreed. Nothing against the others, all of them seem like decent people, add something and are enjoyable to watch. But nothing beats just Sam & Morgan reacting to stuff for me. Maybe it's because that's the pairing I watched when getting to know and love the channel.
i prefer the group reactions. even tho they miss out less, in the end they end up catching more as a group, especially since they have discussions after the episode.
In a way both of them wants to be like allmight. One wants to be the allmight that always wins and the other wants to be the allmight that always saves. Win to save and save to win.
Bakugo’s good intentions have been there, but have been completely subtle. As more seasons pass, it becomes more obvious. It’s beautiful to watch. An argument could be made that when he told Todoroki that his family drama doesn’t matter and to focus on the fight, he telling him to not worry about his home life right now and just focus on being a hero. Second, when he yelled at Ashdod and Kaminari to improve their Quirks. Relying on getting robots for their test isn’t smart in the long run because hero work usually involves using their Quirks around people. Also, him helping Kirishima study was him literally beating the information into his friend’s head. 😂😂😂 Bakugo has always cared, he has just always sucked at showing it.

The whole improvised strategy was Bakugo's idea, a surprise attack and a run towards the gate, the later idea was that Bakugo would get All Might's attention and Deku would win for them, But Deku would not leave his partner behind.

I know I’m late but you should already have seen what happpened between Deku and bakugou the reason bakugou is like that to Deku is from the lake when bakugou fell and Deku made him mad by coming to rescue him when he’s weak and he thought he was being underrestimated and then Deku sudedenly got a quirk and bakugou thought Deku tricked him the whole time he just thought he was the best but underrestimated

A spoiler for people who have read MHA Manga -- I think Bakugo's gradual development was extremely good. It's one of my fav character development considering it took 300+ chapters to finally say sorry and that gradual build up from the very first chapter.
If it takes 300 chapters for a scumbag to say sorry (over a decade of verbal and physical abuse in the story), that’s not growth, that’s a fucking villain finally doing one thing right. Bakugo’s an overgrown tumor.

It’s a move where he’s in the air and he punches to move rapidly in the air towards a target that’s behind him. Without spoiling it and keeping it just to this episode, it was the origin of why Bakugo is so intense. He's always been that guy, and always been a protector of other people. He looks at All Might the exact same way that Deku does. They both basically worshipped him in different ways. Deku being in awe of him all the time, and Bakugo trying to imitate him by always winning, just like All Might always does. No matter the odds, All Might always wins. And Bakugo deeply wants to be the best hero and protect everyone. That's why he is extremely capable in combat and in class, he IS that good. But it also comes with a mega ego of always being told and showing you are the best compared to everyone. But you saw that he was fighting bullies twice his size as a kid, and he and Deku were childhood friends, so something had to happen between them... Also, notice that only Deku calls him Kachan, and while he is mean to him, he always responds. Nobody else, not even his Baku Squad, call him Kachan

I don't think this a spoiler, but still What happened that made Bakugo want to be Number 1? Seeing All Might. What happened that made Bakugo go aggressive and mean? Puberty.
Bakugo is an interesting character for me. He might got character developments in a slow pace, but in the end he still becomes a great hero. The character developments he got don't affect the way he's acting like angry and shouting. It's just a lined-up and part of his explosive quirk. He'll always acting like that to other people equally, not just Deku. He's also an honest person in terms of talking about ppl's weaknesses and progresses. He really means his honesty, but he doesn't really mean the cursing words while expressing his honesty. He's no. 2 in my favorite characters list of MHA.
The principal doesn't have Foresight, that's a completely different ability someone else has and you don't want to mix them up, Nezu's just really smart and was able to make calculations about what would happen if he knocked over something in particular, and where the kids would go.
Btw don’t get scared or worried when he coughs up blood! It doesn’t mean he’s dying it’s just a sign that he doesn’t have much time in that form you’ll see in later seasons. It eventually becomes funny

Bakugou was bullying deku way before deku got his powers which has always made me wonder
so excited for the next season its first arc is one of the best or even the best arc till this point

Bakugo is an interesting character for me. He might got character developments in a slow pace, but in the end he still becomes a great hero. The character developments he got don't affect the way he's acting like angry and shouting. It's just a lined-up and part of his explosive quirk. He'll always acting like that to other people equally, not just Deku. He's also an honest person in terms of talking about ppl's weaknesses and progresses. He really means his honesty, but he doesn't really mean the cursing words while expressing his honesty. He's no. 2 in my favorite characters list of MHA.

The principal doesn't have Foresight, that's a completely different ability someone else has and you don't want to mix them up, Nezu's just really smart and was able to make calculations about what would happen if he knocked over something in particular, and where the kids would go.
