Playing dark souls and bloodborne really taught me how to deal with failure and develop the will of pushing forward despite my mistakes. It helped me in life and helps me in my art studies too. By the way, I think Vespertiliu would like Bloodborne.
This video really helps, because it teaches you how to deal with faliure and that with 1 success comes 5, 10 , 100 faliures, but also appreciate progress and overcoming your negative mindset. Amazing video as always❤❤
Hello, my name is Isac, I'm from Brazil, I love your videos, for me it's like a therapeutic relief every time I watch them, I feel connected with my "artistic self", I lost so much of that after a long depression that I went through years ago , but I'm coming back and how it vivifies me, your videos inspire me.
Vesper thanks for giving us all this great advice fr, sometimes I think it’s better than actual art tutorials because this’ll let ppl learn their own ways and be completely okay with that
Thank you for this video! The timing couldn't be more perfect. It feels I'm a "Hanged One" period in my life, where I am forced to stop after a failure. This video alleviated so much of the heaviness I felt❤
Your video was really touching to watch. We all have our own type of failures and pressure to endure - and for some reason, I began to think of myself, my mind as an enemy that I need to defeat. Like a weakness to overcome. Thank you for changing my perspective here :D For some silly reason, I totally forgot that one can also think of oneself as a friend to support one’s undertakings. Dealing with pressure and rejection is always kind of hard and I think it’s important to make room for oneself - even though it can be very difficult sometimes. It really was a calm and heartwarming video, thanks a lot! :D Still, having to submit something else - or alter your submission until it’s uncanny - is never fun >.> I really like this “meta-perspective” that you are taking on art and creative processes, would be wonderful if you could add videos like this constantly to the mix. All the best!
I can't put into words what I want to say. It's been a short amount of time, but your videos here have filled me with so much inspiration and that inspiration has become action. Reading through the comments on your videos, I see a lot of people have similar experiences engaging with your videos, and it further validates me. Please keep doing what you are doing as long as you are enjoying it and it gives you a place to express yourself.
This comment means so much. You have no idea. This is the kind of support you all are giving me, and that is encouraging me to keep going. Thank you so much 🦇♥️
Thank you so much for this video, I was feeling very frustrated and depression has been hard to deal with recently, but remembering that I should always be kind to myself made me feel a lot more relaxed, the tension I was feeling isn't making me freeze when I think about drawing anymore. Keep up the good work, you're amazing :DD
Well, this is a wonderful video, it touched my soul at a particular moment in my life. You're doing a lot of good in the youtube Art landscape, and I thank you for that. On a lighter note, love the cinematography and cozy feeling you've put there :)
for real I got so much more happy to just share my art with friends. No follower or anything. Still hard to start a comic. Love to listen to you, it is really motivating.
Wow. This was poetic...visually and otherwise. I loved it!!! For some reason, this felt very raw at the same time. It couldn't have been easy (it never is), and on top of that in english?!? Bravo, belladonna.
I'm so grateful for your beautiful videos, they are really helping me through a tough time. I have been struggling with a project for my graphics school, but this made me change my perspective, which is much needed. Thank you so much. I hope you have a great weekend 🤍
A fellow writer! I wish you the world on your self publishing adventure and was so relieved to hear you didnt scrap your first story. Also congrats on the second as well :) Im a novelist looking to publish for the first time this year... who is returning to art (want to illistrate my novel myself...and miss my drawing hobby from childhood). Your videos are inspiring and this one was motivational and comforting. The genuine presentation is appreciated for sure. Wishing you well in all your ventures and thanks for your content - it's appreciated. 🖋
This matter is so important, I confess that I am not good at dealing with failure. I hope I can learn how to deal with failure and not suffering too much like I use it.
Your art is excellent but you content goes far beyond. I was pleasantly surprised to discover your channel by accident, for I'm usually deluged by the algorithm suggesting photography content. Your presentation is superb, as is your editing. As for the content, it is wonderful, be it focused on your art or on the mental aspects for artists. It's also not easy to discuss but... Thank you. You are wise beyond your years.
Thank you so much for this comment! This means a lot! I hope I’ll be able to help as many fellow artist I can by sharing what I wish was shared with me when I first started my art journey. Thank you so much. I appreciate you 🦇♥️
How do you not get distracted by doom scrolling? That's my biggest problem and it's a cycle I'm stuck in. I want to draw everyday, but I get stuck scrolling on tiktok and then it's time for bed.
I do that too T_T that's why I started leaving my phone in other rooms or even putting it into drawers. I put music on my laptop and I draw. Another thing I do is set timers on my apps! I have 15 minutes tops before it gets blocked, then I can unblock it of course, but I use it as a reminder of "that's enough" whenever I catch my phone without even noticing (yep, I have this kind of problem). It's going to be tough at the start since you are literally detoxing from scrolling addiction, but it gets easier with practice. First days you are going to fail so hard, but you'll be able to really witness the problem you are facing, and start to not see it "normal" anymore. Hope this helps! Good luck sis

I watched my bf playing it! she would definitely love it
playing Hades did that for me! even when you win, you lose everything and have to start over again
