Ok so now I have a two tax rates, how do I assign the different tax rates to the keys they relate too?
Hello Don! Without knowing exactly how you plan on using your taxable keys we can't guide you fully but we can point you in the right direction. In your manual, turn to page 126 (PLU Status Chart) from here you will be able to figure out the correct sequence to assign tax rates to specific PLUs.
Also, please watch this video th-cam.com/video/8rTD__gXc78/w-d-xo.html to see how we do a basic input setting for an OPEN PLU key which is taxable by rate 1. Hope this helps!
How do I get my scanned barcode items to include tax as well? I have the tax rate set for keypad items already.

Hello, that's a great question! Please refer to this guide to make sure you have the right scanner settings. But we highly recommend contacting your cash register provider for step by step assistance.

What if the machine does not have the Tax1 option ? What other key do you use ?
Hi Lore. Thanks for the question! If your register does not have a TAX1 key then it means whoever programmed it took that key away by REASSIGNING it with another key. You would have to REASSIGN one of the keys on your keyboard to become a TAX1 key. Check your manual for the steps (FUNCTION KEY ASIGNMENT section), its very easy to do. We'll upload a video soon on how to do this!
