Bhai Harjinder Singh Srinagarwale is bestowed with a very sweet melodious voice. When he says that he listens to iconic musicians like Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Kundan Lal Saigal, Bhai Samund Singh, Bakhshish Singh, Davinder Singh etc he tells that a part of those great singers is living in his consciousness. When he says he listens to Thumris, Dadras, Khayals and folk singing, he admits the greatness hidden within him. He did not mention that he listens to Bhai Avtar Singh Gurcharan Singh and Bhai Santa Singh. My advice to him to listen to both and imbibe their style in his own style. He is a versatile singer, he has not yet peaked in his art. He has to achieve many more milestones. Guru bless him more.

Bhai sahib you are really Akal purk the dein. You said that people don't like narole kirtan but I am a person who from childhood like only kirtan. I still remember as soon as they started Katha I stand up and try to leave and my mother hold my arm and forced me to sit . And still listen only kirtan and that too only of two one is you and other bhI jodh singh ji. Like you interview. I can only pray your long, healthy and more success in life

ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਏ। ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਮੈਂ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਘਰ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਨੂਰਪੁਰ ਬੇਦੀ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਸਟਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸੋਚਣਾ ਕਿ ਕੌਣ ਨੇ। ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਤੇ ਉਹਕੈਸਟ ਲੈਣ ਗਈ। ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ੍ਰੀਨਗਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਫੈਨ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੀ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ।ਉਹ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਵੀ ਸੀ ।ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਢਿੱਲੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਚ ਫਰਕ ਸੀ । ਮੇਰੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪਸੰਦੀਦਾ ਰਾਗੀ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ। ਜਦੋ ਭਾਈ ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਲੱਗ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੰਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਮੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਖੀ ਕਰਦੀ ਏ। ਪਰ ਮਨਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨੇ। ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹੰਝੂ ਵੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਰੁਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ । ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਖਸ਼ੀਸ਼ ਏ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲ੍ਹਾ ਚ ਰੱਖਣ।

Bhai sahib you are really Akal purk the dein. You said that people don't like narole kirtan but I am a person who from childhood like only kirtan. I still remember as soon as they started Katha I stand up and try to leave and my mother hold my arm and forced me to sit . And still listen only kirtan and that too only of two one is you and other bhI jodh singh ji. Like you interview. I can only pray your long, healthy and more success in life
