Thanks Bajir and Jack for a great lesson. One thing that still puzzles me though - if opener has nothing more to say about their shape and has a stopper in the unbid suit, and is therefore bidding NT (as per the 4th priority), why does opener only bid 2NT with 12-15 points? Surely if opener has at least 13 points the partnership have enough for game (as partner needed at least 12 points to play FSF). So why doesn't the opener bid 3NT with 13+ points rather than 2NT? Is it to leave space to explore a possible slam?
Brilliant class. Why did Jack rebid a hand with 17 points show a weak hand by rebidding lower suit at the 2 level. I would take that as a weak hand up to 15 points. Also wondered why Jack used 4th suit forcing when they has AJ X of clubs, had stoppers in 4th suit. Found this confusing whilst he did end up in 4H a better contract.
Great class! Learned a lot about both the bidding and the play. Unfortunately, in watching it on TH-cam not live, my wife and I found Jack's patter of "Hi John, Hi Sarah. Good to see you again. Hi Peter," an impediment to concentrating. I wonder if there is a way to edit that out before posting to TH-cam.
The best teacher on Bashir's videos so far! thankyou
it is a real honor to learn with Jack!!
Thank you Bajir for all your hard work in creating this community. 😊

Nice to see two clean shaven men!
Great lesson. Thank you from Anguilla BWI
Extremely clear and helpful thanks both
Regarding playing the finesse at 32:48, if you play match points you should take the finesse. If you play IMPS you should play safe.
Hi Jack. How do you know when to duck and when not to. Just watching your video. Thanks, Anita
Excellent
Great teacher

Is this FSF to game, or can we leave it in 2 of a suit
Great lesson, I'll try the trial. Are the class times 0 GMT? I am at +3 GMT (Greece). OK, just heard UK time - that answers question.
Heather…thank you

Jack is looking pretty spiffy here 😁

Get to it!!
I would play the 5D as N/S have8/6 D and the 9/J are in the dummies hand
These lessons are very good but I honestly think more time should be spent on the convention and responses than the actual playing of the hands.

If east had QTxx, you will lose. Because you didn't finesse, now you are seeing four hand so took over by heart King.
