Good video, and I agree with pretty well everything Phil says here - for a shorter stay Central Pattaya is great and for a longer stay I'll rent a condo in Jomtien near the baht bus route. If didn't rely on public transport I'd stay in Pratamnak for sure, it's a really nice area and I walk through there frequently.

@@LePubPattaya Well, I've stayed there on numerous occasions for a month or so and you certainly can't beat the location if you want to be close to the action, not to mention the supermarket next door in Central Festival Mall; however it can get really busy with shorter term renters filling up the elevators every day, and if you are on the west side you get the noise from the parking area of the mall as well, with no view from the lower/middle floors - and of course it is expensive, yes...

That was a very good enjoyable video. I went to your bar few weeks back and I was saying to you then that I plan to stay 6 months in Pattaya, in the Uk winter. Then work again in the UK summer for 6 months, every year. I plan to stay in the Jomtien area, as it is more quiet there and get away a bit from the busy and lively central Pattaya area. But it is easy to get to the central area, as you said, jump on a baht bus. I will still go out quite a lot to Soi Bukhao,, Soi 7 and other cental Pattaya areas, in the evenings. I will start looking to rent a condo in Jomtien. Jomtien is also good for exercising, along the beach. You can run, walk, cycle along the beach. As it is not so busy and the beach walk is quite long. Be back in November for the World Cup , Xmas and New Year.

Great knowledge and interesting content but please stop dancing / darting / racing all over the place when seeking to camera. Stay still.

I had a long discussion about this with my producer today, because I had noticed it too. It’s just my enthusiasm for the topic and a few nerves. Watch my next video and see if I change.
      Appreciate your comment, Alan.
