  • I thought I would cover everything in a couple of episodes. Not so. There will be at least one more episode, possibly two.
In this episode I spend most of the time talking about Peel Island, anchoring there in general and anchoring overnight in some of the fishing areas. I then talk about a couple of spots along Stradbroke before I ran out of time and had to wrap it up.
I hope you find it useful.

Thanks in the early 80s I practically lived in and around eastern Morton bay with only a 12 foot Clark runabout and old 18 HP evenrude fastwin ( sounds dangerous now ) got me threw the bar and up past Tangalooma , I also coped plenty of heavy weather! Family commitments and finances saw an end to my fun. Now all the talk of green zones have kept me out of Morton , this show has changed that , I was told peal was all green, you have made my day ! Two yrs back I attempted to get some charts with green zones? Looks like my next sounder is a must thank you please keep up the great job. Cheers

Thank you, you're welcome. I'll put a map of all the green zones in one of the next couple of episodes. They did take away some good fishing spots but there are still a lot left.
