This video gives you great detail on how to hit more greens, hit more fairways and lower your golf scores and ultimately your handicap.
We look at 3 things:
1. How to improve golf ball striking
2. How to find the middle of the club face
3. Help lower your golf scores
and I hope to do all this with simple understanding to create a simple easy golf swing.
......that was some of the best 42 minutes and 49 seconds I've ever spent watching......thanks Stu...... THAT my friend is good coaching.....⛳🍺
Bless you Gary, thank you so much Sir. Best wishes Stu 😊
What a lesson! Pure class Stuart! Regards Staale, Norway
Thanks so much Staale 😊
Stu, that was an excellent session! "More pressure into the Swiss ball" and "push down on the handle" are the takeaways that i hope will get me into negative territory with the angle of attack. Will let you know how i make out. Good golf coaching indeed!
Thanks so much Uday! Hope you’re well My friend and look forward to doing more of these in the future.
Best video showing you how to get your hips and lower body back in your swing!! Excellent video!!! Ball drill against the wall really got me on the right track!!! One of the best I've seen on here!!
Thank you Jalaine - really appreciate the kind feedback. Best wishes Stu 😊
Amazing
Hands down the best coaching on TH-cam….
No pun intended 😂
Keep educating us Stuart
There is a lot of misinformation when looking at coaching videos
Thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback; really enjoy sharing these sessions when clients are keen for me to film, they make for great insights how apply my coaching. Thank you for watching Mark and your generous comments. Best wishes Stu 😊
Love the live lessons and the explanation of the data.Would love to see a driver lesson to see any differences such as do you still like Swiss ball going to target on backswing. CONGRATS ON A GREAT PLATFORM
Thank you so much Bryan, hugely appreciated Sir. Best wishes Stu 😊
Simply magical . It's a shame I don't live in the UK, then I would be a good customer.😢👍
Come and find me on Skillest, I offer remote coaching and can make some huge changes there too! Best wishes Stu 😊
This is a superb video which will help so many golfers. Brilliant coaching Stuart
Really appreciate your kind feedback, hugely grateful. Best wishes Stu 😊
So many of us can relate to this Stu….. great lesson, he must be very happy
Thanks so much Andy!
Stu, absolutely fabulous lesson. I learned so much in these almost 43 minutes: 1. Getting the correct grip and setup are crucial before you even begin to swing the club. 2. How much you lean forward and turn into the swiss ball (lead side) is vital. 3. How the strike is actually made with downward pressure on the handle and NOT the clubhead. Pressure down on the handle with your hands is something completely new to me. I tried it and was amazed at the feeling. 4. Don't worry too much about grip pressure as it will adjust itself once you're striking the ball well and the ball flight going in the right direction. Thanks so much for sharing this and a special thanks to your client for allowing us to see his lesson. Keep up the excellent work. Cheers.
Thank you Sir - Paul was a gent for allowing me to share, super grateful. Glad you grit so much from the video. Best wishes Stu 😊
Brilliant lesson Stuart. I have been following your channel for a month and have made required changes based on your detailed content. This live golf lesson added to all of your content and I could see your technique applied to a real golfer with issues that I can relate to. More live lessons may be a good idea. Damn good golf coaching Stuart. Thanks to your student for being so brave to show his golf swing and lesson. Cheers!
Thanks so much for your kind words Graeme and also a big thanks from Paul, he did super well and grateful he allowed me to film. Best wishes Stu 😊
Now that’s what I call good coaching. I love the way you explain the numbers to get the student to buy in the corrective measures. I have had too many lessons where the coach insisted without explanations.
Explanation is crucial Patrick! Not too much, not too little, just enough. Best wishes Stu 😊
You are AMAZING Stu
Haha don’t tell everyone 😂😂
Magic.I actually learnt a lot from watching that lesson. The main thing I learnt was that there is no substitute for good coaching, period.
Thank you my friend, pleased you enjoyed.
Wow. 35:34 Pushing on the handle at the end and seeing him get such a better angle of attack was mind-blowing.
Thanks Punky or now, Da Golf King! The push is crucial to find the bottom. Best wishes Stu 😊
Excellent coaching
Thanks so much Sean!
Great job student and teacher … I’m glad he was able to keep the athleticism in his swing.
Thanks GG! Best wishes Stu 😊
I wish i could give this 10 upvotes. What an awesome lesson. Amazing how much of a difference small adjustments can make.
Indeed Roger and truly grateful for the very kind feedback. Best wishes Stu 😊
Just had month off for oprration. Watching your vids...good work. I really liked the setup on posture but have never seen a vid on just that. I played yestrrday without practice n tried setup and shot 85 with 4 doubles unfortunately....lol. hopefully you can get a lesson more on body setup like tye 90 degree from spine to club shaft. Ty mucho
Welcome back to the game and happy to hear you are fit and healthy again Gregory! Keep up the good health and hope the golf continues to improve; really appreciate the channel support. Best wishes Stu
nice lesson, could you make one showing the down pressure that needs to be felt with the hands? thank you
I have made plenty David, watch a few more videos of mine if you can...
Couldn’t agree more with the last comment ! Even better than the broom series for understanding the movement of the weight and how to do it married with the effect of pressure down on the handle…that is good golf coaching!
Haha love a bit of Good Coaching 😊
Great results 👍👍👌👌
Thanks Paul!
Fantastic lesson Stuart, the red and yellow circles demo was the real clincher, backed up by the swiss ball demo. never really understood the position of the hips played such a big part in ball striking, I think we really focus too much above the hips.
Music to my ears Martin, glad the pieces of the puzzle joined up. Best wishes Stu 😊
Thanks for posting these, Stu. It is helpful to watch you go through the coaching process with a student.
My pleasure Phil!
Great to watch you work Stu. Was kinda hilarious when you made the first grip adjustment and the ball was instantly striped!😄
Chris the art of good coaching is knowing how the pieces fit together. Taken 30 years to get here. 😊
Have you done a video on the grip issues this player had, and on the problems that it causes and why it causes them? It was really interesting how much his path changed just from that grip shift.
Really like your approach to instruction.
I haven’t done a specific video on this chaps grip issues other than what was covered in the lesson. Best wishes Stu 😊
Great video, so much that I recognise from my lessons. Despite that I still learned new things such as grip pressure tending to correlate to face to path (lighter pressure tend to hook, strong pressure tend to fade).
What this shows is that importance of good, reliable data because the changes in club path, face to path and, usually, angle of attack are really small - in a dynamic movement such as a golf swing we are talking for the golfer in the video, about moving the club path a few degrees, the angle of attack a few degrees. That is very difficult to see on a video of a swing but really easy to see with proper data.
Thanks Justin! Best wishes Stu 😊
Only came across your channel about an hour ago and what great content. I can relate to many things in this lesson which I look forward to applying the right way in the range. Thanks 👊🏼
Firstly Kevin, a big welcome my friend. Let me know if you have any questions along the way at and look forward to helping you play better golf! Best wishes Stu 😊
Really informative video. Makes me think I really should come and see you. That said, you may not want to see a senior golfer struggling with consistency.
I can help every level of the game Paul. no issue is too big and will be fixed. Best wishes Stu 😊
Hopefully part 2 coming that was great!
Fingers crossed there will be! Best wishes Stu 😊
Thanks
Super generous, thanks Mark
Excellent coaching very enjoyable to watch
Thanks Rodney, very kind feedback Sir.
Absolutely brilliant video how you explained the values you have up on screen was fantastic 😊 why the ball does what it does with the path and face angle.... Brilliant video easy to understand 😊😊
Thank you so much Dave, really appreciate the very generous feedback my friend. Best wishes Stu
This is such a good lesson, thanks Stu
Thank you so much Alexander much appreciated my friend.
Wonderful job. That's good coaching!
Thank you my friend.
Great video Stu, can relate to a lot of the points that you addressed!! Thanks!
Thanks so much Bri! Best wishes Stu 😊
Good coaching!
Thank you!
Needs a TPI screen! Trial hip internal rotation is totally inhibited thus resulting in an all shoulder & arms swing, and naturally an over-the-top path. Early extension and positive AoA is caused by path and ball position too forward..
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 💭 Best wishes Stu 😊
Wow. How many coaches would identify that a slice was the result of a grip being too strong? Good coaching 😊
Thanks Mel, much appreciated! Best wishes Stu 😊
Hi stu amazing stuff again. I've started using this move with my driver and it's working. Should I be using this move with my driver. Don't want to be doing something I shouldn't. Although its working. Cheers. Mate
Hi Peter / if it’s possible working, stick at it I would say. Enjoy the performance!! Best wishes Stu 😊
Great coaching Stuart. Is Paul typical in the fact he seemed to be able to make some quite big changes very quickly? How often would you recommend someone coming to see you to make these sort of changes? Cheers
Paul is typical of the changes that can be made. No doubt about it. Get the order of change right and you’ll be shocked how this is a very typical outcome to a golfer. Best wishes Stu 😊
Hi Stu, amazing lesson 👍 really enjoy these 👌 one question please is could the ball drill encourage a reverse pivot? We’re all taught to get pressure onto the right side during the backswing but this drill can only result in the pressure staying left unless I’m missing something (which is highly likely) 😂 would love you to clarify and thanks again for your superb content 👍🙏🏻🏌️♂️
Hi Paul - the Swiss ball creates reaction through your legs. Loading the right leg can be done in two definitive ways, lateral which would drop the ball, or pressure and rotation which would load the left in transition. What the upper half does, creates a reverse pivot or not, this drill has a bearing on that. Hope that clears up your question. Best wishes Stu 😊
Thanks for the reply Stu. That makes perfect sense now 👍 reading the other comments and it’s clear how much your subscribers look forward to these lessons as we all can relate to them as weekend hackers 😂 brilliant job Stu and thanks again 🙏🏻👍👌🏌️♂️
Bless you Paul, thank you so much. ☺️
Amazing lesson can I ask on the backswing is he still turning his chest as he pushes into the Swiss ball with his right foot?or is he just swinging his arms?
Hi Ian, as the Swiss ball rolls along the wall, his chest will indeed turn Sir. Best wishes Stu 😊
Wish I could have seen how you set his hands. I have wicked pull hook and looks like you set his right hand weaker on top?
I absolutely did, weaker right hand. Best wishes Stu 😊
Great lesson again just 1 question. Can I do the same move and grip adjustments but I already hit a draw but would like to straighten in up a bit
Yes Sir, the right hand will straighten up an over draw too. 😊
Top man and thanks for the rapid response 👍
Pleasure!
Close up of the grip would have helped, apart from that another great lesson.
Check out my grip series; how like the majority of clients to hold the club.
That grip is me to a tee. Cover drive the result. 🎉
😂 - best get it changed then! 😎
