Found a much easier one for 3.1...
since we know that the first term is 1 (from the general term in tn=...) and the first term of the first diff is 7 we can say: 3a+b=7 then 3(1)+b=7 we'll find that b=4

For question 5,5 we could also find the midpoint of BC which would then be perpendicular to A. We could then use BC as the Base and A with the midpoint of BC as the height [½(BC)(A with midpoint BC)]. Is that correct sir? Checked the memo answers are the same but this method ain't there, don't know if it's a huge coincidence

Kevin wasn't K=12...Since the formula for number of terms is (N.O terms =Top-bottom+1) .So I think we should do it this way by saying (N.O of terms=Top-bottom+1
=K-0+1
=11-0+1
=11+1
=12
Or am i doing it wrong??
