    Love your kites. I’ve always wanted the lite wind version because I live in Tennessee. Very inconsistent wind here and only get to the beach once or twice a year. True innovation! I’m 61 next month and kites still bring a smile on my face every time I fly. Thank you for your dedication to promote the sport!

      Awesome @jeffatkins8103! My favorite light-wind (including no wind) is the new Revolution Condor! Check it out:

      With some 30 ft. lines and a little practice, you will have it too! Light wind is best! Checkout this catch' at 1:15! th-cam.com/video/DrSfg7kSn3g/w-d-xo.html

    G'day Joe. I've often wondered what the optimum line length, etc etc, is for the total novice. 2 questions. Do you match lines for optimum level of performance according to the kite you have on the end, and at what skill level you happen to be. Or does that not come into account. Case in point. Being a total novice I purchased the Tarantula XX. (with 4 months practice under my belt) . Right or wrong choice I'm still not sure. 80 feet of 90lb test. So is this best choice for my skill set? Or at what level of skill have you determined, that that particular combination of line and kite is the best. If that makes sense. But I suppose that all depends on your definition of the A typical rev flyer.

      Yes Steven Elliot! That is a great lineset choice for the Tarantula! The most important step for you is to push your skill level up, at least to level 3 or 4. The best way to do this is to go through our online Club 38 course. Here are 2 videos to help gauge your skill level: th-cam.com/video/NpJ4JcgzUEs/w-d-xo.html and: th-cam.com/video/bCABO1LeTlU/w-d-xo.html

    Are the top and bottom lines the same length? I have an old Rev and wonder if the lines have stretched

    • @jhadzicki
      @jhadzicki  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your Rev is older than 1995 the lines are different lengths. After 1995 all lines are the same length. Here is a quick video showing how to adjust your line length using 'leader lines':

    Does the kite only option when you purchase a Rev include the handles?

    • @jhadzicki
      @jhadzicki  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No Andres, Kite only, no handles, no lines. Kite, shafts, bridle- Ready to fly. You can order it any way you want! Let me know. th-cam.com/video/XS90pAcaxLI/w-d-xo.html

      @@jhadzicki I have a Rev II and Supersonic can I use their handles if I get either Rev XX or Blast?

    • @jhadzicki
      @jhadzicki  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ancarazo I think both of your handle sets are '11 inches', The XX (and all current Revs) come with 13 inch handles. You can fly with the 11 inch handles.. The XX just won't be very responsive... It will feel a little heavy and slow... That might be a good thing! The Reflex RX would be a better fit with the 11 inch handles, and the Rev Eagle would be an excellent fit for the 11 inch handles! The XX is my favorite Rev because of the stability making it much easier to learn new Rev skills. It should feel a lot like your Rev 1. Here is a quick video of the Rev Eagle just for grins! It also ships with 13 inch handles, but it is very sensitive, so 11 inch handles would be awesome for initial training!
