Review was quite accurate . I am owning a zest myself and it really hits the spot. I don't think any other car of same segment could have made me more satisfied than my Tata zest . zest be the best.

Harsh Ks I'm thinking about zest.. I'm confused between zest and aspire..

@Rishank Devdiga , If you are looking for a petrol Sedan , look no other than the Zest. See, looks of both the cars are good. Aspire looks like a mini Aston martin, while zest has its own appealing looks. Interiors, Zest still wins here when it comes to interiors and features provided in the car. I own a Zest xm model and I am impressed by the zest. Aspire too has good features and dont forget its a ford so it feels premium but zest gives you a little more in same price (actually zest costs less than aspire for base, mid and top varients by 20000-30000 thousand rupees). Practicality wise zest is a loser here as it has much less storage spaces but it has an under seat storage which can hold two 1 litre bottles easily. Here's a sum up for petrol varients-
      LOOKS - Both cars (9)
      INTERIORS - Zest(9.5), Apire(9)
      PERFORMANCE(petrol) - Zest(9), Aspire(8.5)
      PRACTICALITY - Zest(8), Aspire(9)
      MILEAGE - Zest(8.5), Aspire(8.5)
I will suggest you to go for the zest if you are looking for a petrol car. Its parts are easy to find and costs much less for service and maintenance . Finally its your choice . All the best for your new car whichever it be. Thanks .

Harsh Ks I'm looking for a car mostly for city travel and occasional long drives upto 400kms..
my requirements- seat comfort and space, comfortable ride without feeling the bumps and mileage..
for this which one is better?

Dude no one complains about comfort in a TATA. Comfort levels are on par with its competetors (see the autocar's review for better explanation). Since your daily running is less, you must consider petrol version rather than diesel . On trips of upto 400 km it will give a mileage of around 16 km/l . In city I am getting a mileage of 14.1 km/l mostly driving in city mode (see you get driving modes too). Trips would be lovely in this car. My car has been serviced only once yet and second service is after a month post which car would give the best mileage. so lets wait and see the further mileage figures . Peace

The good points of this car TATA Zest petrol XM that driving is pleasure while we can control the mileage if the car by following fuel rapid consumption meter and accordingly do excelleration. I have even achieved 19.6 km/liter with AC crushing at only 80 km/ hr max while doing the gentle pick and trying to run in fifth 5 gear most often . One has to be vigil about their excelleration process . In Sports mode and in fifth gear one easily achieve 16km/ liter with AC.

tata should have given this 1.2L 4 cyl non turbo in tiago, tigor etc.. instead of 1.2L 3cly which lack refinement.

I don't know why but ZigWheel certainly is biased towards TATA Motors. They think their review makes TATA better. But all they are doing is promoting brands that Robs people. While TATA is offering Indian people what matters in a Car. I would say TATA and Maruti Suzuki is one of the most Innovative companies that are constantly developing new technology for this market while all the other companies are busy launching facelifted cars. -_-

    • @JsonJar
      @JsonJar 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Innovative and they are giving what are needed in a car .. then whats the prblem if they are biased .. I cant comprehend ... may be I am missing something ?

However I have a bit different view . In this car ,petrol version, it is good in every sense , my engine has started giving problem of Tapit sound of the Engine from as low as 2500 km drive and then it was repeAted three times there after every after long drive there was the Tapit sound keeps coming . which was accepted by the TATA motors and got it tuned all the times. Finally they have to change the parts at 12500 km only running .its my private car and I follow SOP for its driving in city and across the cities. The best part was that Ratan kept hearing my twit and advised the concerned to replace the problematic area . Yes the service Dept reacted very well probably it was a Honable Ratan TATA concern. To day I have received the car after its replacement of spares ,but the sound still the Sam e. The concerned Engg explained that it would go off over a drive of another few KM .But I have a doubt that Revetron Engine can't afford to have such problem .Surely it is a manufacturing defects.Maruti and Hyundai have no such complains at all.

The worst buying experience or extremely painful experience with Tata Motors...!!! Taking advance from customer, forced customer to get loan...customer submit the loan approval letter..then customer hand over the bank cheque of the loan amount and the rest of amount also to the dealer but the tragedy is that there is no integrated communication between Tata Motors Management - The Dealer - & The Customer. Customer do lot of follow up with dealer - with Tata motors head office Mumbai - & the person handling to those dealer but - NO CERTAINTY OF THE DELIVERY TIME. Nice car - worst management.

indeed petrol version is a failure. Gearbox is noisy you feel like changing gears in Bajaj chetak when gear wire is about to break. I think reviewer got paid to say every thing good about this car....
