Great video. Is it better to use aluminum axles vs steel? Especially in aluminum frames? Because the steel might damage the aluminum threads of the frame.
Advice please? I have a frame axle that I cannot remove. Took it off once to remove the brake then failed to put the shorter axle in and now I can’t get it back off. Only one side unscrews but the side it of axle it exposes has a lip around the perimeter that prevents the axle from going through that direction. Don’t know how I’ve managed this but I’m super confused
Hi, I’m trying to see what are the best axle and spacer is better, do you have a favorite inline skates that give you good or better speed/performance? I used to use Roller Derby BX5000 growing up and been loving that axle system than most other roller blade’s axle in the market because of its rotation and smoothness that it gives… do you know any new or current roller blade that still uses that system or could you recommend something that would be similar that or better?
10:27 I stripped the hex head on my frx back axle. Brand new skates🤣🤣🤣 I won't need to rotate the wheels for a little while though. They really put those axles in there tight from the factory. It stripped out on the first try

I had a k2 aggressive skate that had a 6 edged axel for rockerin all four wheels in several setups.
jup! those are great as long as they have metal frame spacers instead of the plastic ones
Love this format. Everytime I think I know all about the theme, I learn something new! Thank you!
what is the threaded end bolt size? and thread per mm? also some axels have tapped holes in the for brake kits.
most axles on our webshop have the thread size listed! it usually is M7 or M6
@@Thisissoul how many theads per mm thanks im making a custom frame want to be sure on tap size
Is there hollow axles as well? Because the skates i am using has axles which are hollow in the middle i can see through it .
Yes. Some axles are hollow. It’s strong enough and lighter than a solid axle. Like a bicycle frame tube. Hollow. But very strong

Maybe this is a stupid question, but can I put a rockerable axle in a non--rocker frame?
sadly you can not.
K2 also uses the 6mm axles in their Uptowns which are rockerable. Great vid!

Great video ❤💪 Thanks!
Accidentally came to find information about car axles, stayed for the skates. 8)
