I was going to buy the R but after calculating the price of extras to bring it as close as possible to the RS, seat cowl, belly pan, bar end mirrors and span adjustable levers which came to 960 pounds and that doesn't include Ohlins suspension and Brembo stylemas that are on the RS, I opted for the RS in cosmic yellow, it's brilliant and a step up from my 2020 RS.
I've been wondering if the R would be a better go to for road only riding.. but the spec difference against cost like you say is a tough one... Or easy depending how you look at it haha 😅
Looking forward to hearing what you think about the RS. I have a 2020 and absolutely love it. Took a few rides to get used to it when I was so at-one with the VFR, but the RS suits me well. The agility, ease of use and acceleration make it a fantastic machine. It certainly shifts doesn’t it?
I owned a 765 s a couple of years ago and I still say that no one needs a loud exhaust on these. To have one would spoil the intake roar. It's addictive. I buy all my bikes though. I wish I could have free bikes to test.
How do you fit all the bikes in your garage, I struggle with 2 ! Nice vid incidentally, look forward to Sunday evenings just for this.😃 Keeping an eye on the weather for WW🤞
Ayup Rich. Can't believe it mate, I was looking at the same bike at Pidcocks last week and loved the white one. Me and our Tracey have been talking and I've decided that she'll let me have one. Only thing is when I've had it for a bit will I wish I'd got the RS for another £1700, I can afford it but I loved the white R version. Anyway I'm booking a test ride tomorrow for next week so I could be coming to the weekender on a new Triumph. See ya soon. PS ya could have done us a walkaround ❤️❤️
@@RichyVida it seems that a lot of buildings, barns and residential buildings are T like a 45 deg angle to the road instead of parallel to them. Just curious if you knew why.
I had a 2013 675R but only kept it for 6 months as found the suspension just too harsh for the B roads I love round Derbyshire. Be interested to know how the newer bikes behave?
Hi, you couldn’t have surprised me more, on Friday I bought the Street R. But it is a 2017 one with 3,400 miles on it. £,6363.00. I looked at the new one, but I prefer the TFT and the bigger tank on the 2017 model. I also prefer saving £3,200 pounds on what must have been somebody’s garage queen. Be interesting to see the comparison with the RS, I’m led to believe the Ohlins are giving a firmer, slightly tilted forward , higher stance for the track. Looking forward to your next video.
Great bike sounds great too I’ve tried both and I thinks the R is better value !!! Lee up the great vids 👍
Id buy the r and add a belly pan, prefer the dash on the r aswell, the rs would be lost on me, i also love that road at carsington👍

Yeah bloody great bike!
Love my 2021 R, so much fun
Lovely bike, saw this recently in the Triumph. What do tou think top rider height would be?

Agreed. That exhaust is perfect!
Had one in 2017 and it was one of my favourite bikes I’ve owned … itching to get another now .
There's defo something about them, isn't there. Naked's aren't really my thing (well, this kind) but these are..

Ride Safe Mr B \m/
Brilliant vid looking forward to you're thoughts on the rs
Coming Wed!
The only thing missing from the R is the red and yellow paint schenes and lower fairing.
Richy, can you tell me why all the older buildings are at an angle to the roads in the UK?
Example please Ryan?

Superb bike, would love to upgrade but it has to wait a while…
Richy is the visor off the shelf or has it been tinted? I’ve just called a local tint workshop who say they can’t tint mine as it’s plastic not glass.
It's just an Iridium one
Sounds amazing,
What do you think of 360 camera, compared to the Go pro 🤔
Not a replacement but great for cool perspectives!
Waited for this one, looking forward to hearing your comparison against the RS 😊
Tomorrow!

Yeah I get that. Defo in the firmer side..
140 miles out of the R/S when on holiday with one

Really? I love the perspectives you can achieve with the Insta. 👍
@@RichyVida the views are great, think the fish eye effect grinds me the wrong way haha.....don't mind me 🤪
Haha no worries, my friend 👍
Triumph I would call it a disaster
Really? You don’t like it? Be interested as to why? 👍
Triumph-ugly
Interesting!
