The Roaches are near a farm called Blaze Farm. It's got really good ice cream. The general area is beautiful.

I actually went to Flash when I was younger, my Mom took us to see the highest village in Britain.
I walked the 12km roaches/luds church figure 8 route last weekend. It never gets boring! ♥️ So lucky having the Peaks on our doorstep!

Did a Topo survey at the "highest primary school in Britain" about 25 years ago and always remember it as its such an awesome location. The weather was awful on that day but didn't take anything away from the location. Sadly due to lack of numbers the school did close and nearly became an outdoor education centre linked with Flash Ley Primary School but sadly this deal fell through. I didn't realise it was now a private dwelling but nice to see it wasn't just left to become derelict. Brilliant vlog as always and great to see the Village again. :))))

And within my field's I have a cockfighting pit which is a similar age ( maybe older) ,FLASH is famous for being called the lawless village back in the day!! With outlaws participating in cockfighting, prizefighting and counter fit money 💰 ( FLASH MONEY)

I had to cancel my holiday there because covid hit so I was unable to go in 2020. But I'm booked to go early May next year 2023 for 2 weeks. I'm so excited I'll be watching you as always in florida. Just thought I'd make it 120th comment for Flash. I have a Staffordshire Wallchart in Kitchen and see Flash is Highest Village in UK. Good to see Good vlog about it. I've Always wanted to go to Bakewell as Love the Tarts. Aged 61 I don't Travel or walk as much thesedays but like to imagine my equivalent milage ie 1 - 5 miles a day ie walking the boarder of Staffordshire about 320 miles in about 5 - 6 mths? And Other Stuff.

There's a cool place to go walking called Lud's church which is like a cut out channel through stone really deep down, could be worth checking out
