No I could not have stalled out sucker punch. There was 1 minute left in the 20 min timer. The curse of the 20 minute timer strikes again

Fun fact: Lokix completely wrecks Geeta's team. If you give it First Impression, Lunge, Throat Chop, and Axe Kick, you can hit every one of her 'mons for super effective damage (after the Glimmora Teras to pure Rock, of course)
I led with it and swept her team. I was so confused
Well her team is somehow worse than Diantha's and I'm not sure if that's an accomplishment or complete failure
I had that on my team by pure chance, (I love bug types and coverage), she didn't stand a chance

Lol I led with my Lokix and used Swords Dance, and Espathra destroyed it with Dazzling Gleam :(

Used a Nymble/Lokix from the Artazon gym all the way through the Elite 4 and into the postgame. It now has Tinted Lens and chunks whatever I want to hit lol

This was an amazing video to watch, ironically Haydunn, YOU were what got me into competitive battles a million years ago back in gen4 and I found Xenon through you so this was like one big nostalgia trip for me lol

You say often that something "resists" Lokix, but keep in mind it has access to Tinted Lense.

So what happens if the Mon has quadruple resistance to its attack? It's double?
@@LimeLivesMatter i think it hits like a usual not very effective if they have 4x resistance but im not positive
@@LimeLivesMatter single resistance becomes normal damage and double resistance becomes single resistance. I think.
Yea it simply "doubles resisted damage". So normals resists deal usually 50% -> 100%. But quad resist which are 25% -> 50%.
Tinted Lens is also the reason why Venomoth becomes scary after 2 quiver dances.
There was still a shot to win at the end there. Endure has more PP than Sucker Punch. Even though Endure fails if you use it multiple times in a row, Sucker Punch would have also failed so Armarouge still would have been safe. Of course there's no way to know whether they had 5 or 8 PP, so you would have to either guess or rely on Endure working on the turn that they actually start to use Struggle. From there you could outspeed and OHKO. It wasn't guaranteed, but there was definitely still a chance
I was thinking the same thing, but sadly there was only 30 ish seconds left in the match so there was no time to stall out the sucker punches
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that Haydunn didn't want to win in a way in which came down to pp stall.
Looks like the timer is still an issue. Pokemon should really implement a system in which both players each have a total of 20 min for their plays. The timer begins when their turn arrives and the timer stops once they've selected a move or action. That way, the other player can't time stall you if you're playing at an adequate thinking speed.
Also Haydunn could have definitely won by PP stalling the Sucker Punch. That's a valid strategy since Sucker Punch having low PP count is its drawback for its powerful effectiveness of a move.
Definitely would be there if there wasnt less than 2 minutes left on the timer.

You could have PP stalled Xenon, as Endure has more PP than Sucker Punch, but that would have been quite unsportsmanlike play so props to you for losing with honour rather than winning as a douchebag!
true that but thing was that the game was in the minute timer so he wouldn't have had the time to stall for so long so my hp bar would have given me the battle, still 20 minute timer saved me actually and Haydun played a mighty game, he would have easily have it if not for the time limit
How is that being douchy? It would have been a big brain play if he won tf? I would just assume he was wasting time and not trying to expend sucker punch PP and then found out by having no sucker punch and be amazed
@@tr4sh37 at no point did anybody waste any time here but I have to note that we both only had one more minute to go so me being locked to sucker punch sealed it since time would run out before I run out of all the sucker punch pp even if I click right away and lock myself into struggle. It wouldn't be a big brain since the outcome would be my choice pokemon winning duo to more hp.

Seeing Lokix perform well just makes me sadder seeing how Spidops turned out.
It's one of three Pokémon in the game that get Sticky Web, and it's stats are so low to go on the offensive with, despite being evolved and a Bug-type Sam Fisher.

Bruh, I'm not sleeping on him. Most of the teams I face have a glass cannon fast lead that Lokix loves to eat for breakfast. The priority moves with Tinted Lens is amazing. Also checks late game sweepers.

Couldn't you have spammed Endure causing Sucker Punch to fail, counting its uses (8) until it ran out and then used Armor Cannon?
Question, when Aumorouge was in with Lokix, why didn’t you endure the first impression forcing him to switch?
You would have won with clicking endure 8 times and sucker punch PP would have run out then attacked with armor cannot because you would have been faster.

the problem is the 20 minute time, he would have lost duo to time being run out, and before i use my 8 pp of sucker punch he would have lost duo to my pokemon having more hp than his, but if this was not a 20 minute limit he would have won easy.

Ever since ORAS really I've always wanted to get in to player duels. Sword & Shield furthered that desire because that generation was awesome and Scarlet & Violet are equally awesome titles despite the criticism and you can get infinite playtime on pokemon games if you are involved in the pvp duels. However I'm a filthy casual with casual gamer skill and an overall particular lack of skill in most games' PvP scene and player duels in pokemon mean knowing the every detail of building teams and obsessively building a team for it something I like which I barely obsess over a game enough to finish any sort of campaign or story

@Haydunn - more of hindsight, but I believe if you had Will-O-Wisp on Armorouge instead of Flame Charge, you could have outplayed him and cancelled his Sucker Punch and still do damage with status move. Gives me ideas for my set :)

I just played someone who led with a Bug Tera lokix, and they used leech life and somehow one hit me. The math in my brain wasn't making sense!
could you not have hit endure 7 more times until it ran out of pp then outspeed and kill on the turn it struggled? your endure had more pp left than sucker punch so you could have outlasted it
