Upper Blackwater, WV

The Upper Blackwater is a run I've always dreamed of. It's like the Upper Yough on steroids. Massive boofs everywhere, plus a gorgeous put-in overlooking the iconic Blackwater Falls make this run a staple East Coast run. Sadly, my GoPro died at Moguls, so I lost a lot of amazing footage, but that just means I'll have to go back again! This PFD also happened to be my birthday present, as I turned 19 only 2 days later. Thank you, Christina, Brenton, and Alex for providing the best birthday present ever!
Glad I had mostly clean lines on it, and I'm looking forward to more laps in this wonderful gorge!
