That is an excellent question! And I'll add another twist: Zech 14:4 tells us that he will come to the Mount of Olives and split it in two. So what are we to do with these verses? A detailed response is probably too long for a TH-cam comment, but in a nutshell... The white horse of Revelation is symbolic - it stands for victory. Rev 6 speaks of the four horsemen, but they too are symbolic of Antichrist, war, famine, and death. The Church is displayed riding white horses behind Jesus, but again, it is symbolic of the victory of the Church based on the blood (the robe dipped in blood) of Jesus. In Acts 1, the return of Jesus coming as he left is speaking of his physical and visible return, i.e.: he went physically (in His resurrected body) and visibly into heaven and will return physically and visibly from it. So in essence, these verse do not contradict; they are making different points in different ways. In Revelation 19, the lamb who was slain for sinners will return as the lion who will judge his enemies. In Acts 1, the Resurrected Christ is leaving for a time (to prepare a place for His Bride) and will return in the same way (resurrected and seen by all). Thanks for that insightful question. I pray this helps. God bless!
Christ will return only to tell the Christians when did i told u that I am God. U evil and idolatrous generation claiming miracles in my name, depart from here.
End Times prophesy is not a salvation issue. Ephesians 2:8-9 - It is by God's grace we are saved, through faith. John 3:16 - God gave His son so whoever believes in Him will be saved. John 3:36 - He who believes in Jesus has eternal life. Rom 10:9 - Confess Jesus and believe in your heart that He is Risen and you will be saved. Acts 16:31 - Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved. 1 Peter 1:9 - the outcome of your faith is salvation. Trust in Jesus for salvation. There will be many in heaven that do not agree with you on everything in the Bible. We can agree to disagree on these secondary issues. When Jesus ascended the angels told the disciples he would come back the same way, so how come he comes back on a white horse?
