- The pursuit Hemi Charger gets an upgrade! With the added upgrades the pursuit chargers come with from the factory, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I had extremely high hopes for the outcome.....Let’s just say I was more then impressed!!

I'll be doing the same modification to my 2014 Charger Pursuit too. I'm just waiting for the dealership to remove the law enforcement decals before I can take it home. My step-son has a 2010 Challenger R/T with same straight pipe exhaust. Sounds really good!

I did that to my 11 charger rt. It only sounded good at wot. It always shifted so hard so I just put flowmaster 10 series.

I need some help honey I have same car when I get in start it drive it fine .when I shut it off and try to drive it again I have no power steering.if I leave it sit till next day same thing. No check light no nothing . If it was the pump would it stay not working.? I mean would it kick on and off
Honestly I don’t know. You’ll have to take it to a mechanic or a Dodge dealer to see what’s wrong with it.
Is a muffler delete and an resonator the same thing? And you know witch one helps with performance.
No they are different and create different tones and noises depending on what you like. A mid muffler adds a deeper tone from the engine and possibly some torque gain but very little else.
A resonator delete affects the back pressure of exhaust gases, which amount to a lot more fuel consumption which is what I experienced with this Charger. It could potentially also give you some Horsepower gain.
Honestly I suggest a mid muffler delete but add some DynoMax Bullets, an X-pipe, or any other muffler add on. Make the tips bigger with Carven’s 5” tips and you’re good to go if you want to maintain fuel consumption.
When you did this did the check engine light come on?
Negative. The check engine light will only come on if you mess with your catalytic converters.
Do your check engine light come on after all this?
Negative. Your check engine light will only come on if you cut the cats off.

does it have drone
Hunnapugz It does, but honestly not a lot compared to the 2010 Charger I had. But without the resonators V8’s will almost always have some drone.
Did you experience a loss of performance after this procedure?
You don’t lose any performance you gain a little actually by completely opening up the engine without restriction from the muffler and resonators.
Are the cats still on? because I plan on putting cutouts on my 2013 pursuit.

XxOKI xX Just keep a close eye at system failures. Could cause damage to the engine and you’ll also fail emissions tests.
Jonathan Solis-Betty Yeah I definitely will, luckily some counties in my state don’t test for emissions at all, which is great on my end!! I’ll probably keep the cats on though just because of the smell and stuff.

Maurice Johnson No doubt about that! Go with a muffle and resonator delete or go with cut outs. Cut outs are a little more pricier but they’ll do that job no attracting unwanted attention when you don’t want it.

Hundo About $100 if I’m not mistaken. Welds were actually not as bad as I initially thought but still kinda bad and positioning was actually close to being extremely fucked up. Had to stand behind them and tell them exactly where to place the pipe for an identical look. Of course still is not a permanent job. I have future plans for a straight piped system out of the East Coast.

In total like $150 I believe but depends on the shop.
Hows the drone?
It was terrible! I recommend to only get the mufflers cut. Leave the resonators on.
What size straight pipe did you use?

Most pursuit Chargers did not come with exhaust tips and I just didn’t want any. When I upgrade the exhaust system to get rid of the drone maybe I’ll reconsider but I like the look of no exhaust tips.
Got to put it in sports mode and use manual
No sports mode on the pursuit but I have switched to manual here and there. Newest video has some clips
now put a supercharger on it
