My father rode a BMW RS 1100 vintage motorcycle it was a monster. He was five foot 5 inches on a good day , he used that exact same trick. I miss you. Chilean Italian who was not my blood but raised as own . A six foot 2 son and difficult . RIP.

Harleys have significantly lower seat heights and make seats and handlebars called "reach" that are made for shorter people to sit closer to handlebars. The seat height is at least 5-8 inches shorter on most Harleys than those street bikes. She probably be way more comfortable on them but she also should do whatever she wants and makes her happy as well, I'm just throwing it out there.
Once she is rolling she's perfectly fine. Im 5' 11" and my bike's seat height is 34 inches so i do the same as her until I'm rolling and my feet are back on the footrests.
