Can the Mirka Leros remove popcorn/texture ceiling?

The Planex and Planex 2 are better for popcorn removal, because the perimeter dust shroud catches more of the popcorn. The Leros throws a lot of popcorn around the room. That being said, I still think the Leros is the best flat sander, so I'm willing to accept that trade-off.

Would my 80 grit be strong enough? Also have you tried painted ones yet?

Couldn't find 40grit 9" sanding pads threw mirka? What distributor did you get them from?
